Eddie Van Halen's old, washed-up ass is suing Nike for the design on their new "Dunk Lows" sneakers. The new sneakers have a red, white, and black stripe design on them, and Eddie thinks Nike ripped it off the red, white, and black stripe he signatured on his "Frankenstein" electric guitars since 1978. On top of that, Eddie actually released his own line of sneakers earlier this year that featured the Frankenstein design. Nike said they didn't steal Eddie's idea, there shoe is nothing like his, and they didn't reference the "Van Halen" name at all.
What do you think? Is Eddie just trying to make an easy buck, or does he have a legit argument?
