Wanda Sykes is one of the funniest, most wiseass ladies I've ever seen/heard. So you knew that when she was at the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner on Saturday night, she was gonna talk some trash about someone. That someone happened to be Rush Limbaugh, who actually said he hopes President Obama fails when he was first elected. Wanda said that Rush saying that was the same view that Osama bin Laden had. She said Obama should look into it "because [she thinks] Rush Limbaugh was the 20th hijacker."
There were a ton of people who laughed, but a few who were offended and thought it wasn't really in good taste to make a joke based off of 9/11. This is way too sensitive of a subject for me to even get involved with, so I'm ending it here and not giving my feedback. All I'll say is this -- wishing a President to fail (whether it's Obama or Bush or Jackson Blue) isn't any less offensive than a 9/11 joke.
