Jimmy Wayne Twitter trouble

Country star Jimmy Wayne has become pretty obsessed with Twitter, updating it nonstop and taking random pictures to post for his fans so they can see where he's at. But he says it's also gotten him in a little trouble, which he gives the deets on in the quote below.

I want to bring fans closer into where I am on the road. Sometimes I'm in an airport lying on the floor, and I'm like, 'Oh you gotta see this.' So I send it out over my phone and it reaches everybody all over the world. No matter where they are, they can be with you -- it's fun! Sometimes it's a mistake, and you can't erase a picture once it's up. I've been called by the record company more than once for putting up stuff. For instance, when I Twittered, 'Hey guys, this is what it looks like when I'm not in my underwear,' and I took a picture of my underwear. It got millions of hits though!

You can follow Jimmy Wayne and his underwear right here.

Tony LaRussa sues Twitter

St. Louis Cardinals' manager Tony LaRussa is suing Twitter because some loser douchebag who needs to get laid but clearly can't created a page pretending to be Tony. He's suing on trademark infringement and "dilution, cybersquatting, and misappropriation of name and likeness."

Cybersquatting? Sounds like someone sh*tting on computers.

Patrick Swayze is still alive and kickin'

If you follow Celebrity Dirt on Twitter, then you would've seen my postings about rumors that Patrick Swayze died. I didn't completely believe it, but thought I'd post something about the rumors right away, then start checking my sources to see what they knew. Turns out Pat's death was falsely reported (again) by a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida. So, apologies if we got anyone worried, but I threw up a couple more messages afterward saying that it was just a rumor, and then that he was confirmed alive by People magazine. But that's all the more reason you should follow us on Twitter -- sometimes I throw up breaking news right away that I don't have time to write about on here.

Twitter plugs aside, I feel bad for Pat. The guy constantly is spending what could be his final days (although we've been hearing he's doing well with his cancer battle and he's as healthy as he can be, all things considered) denying rumors that he's dead. Poor fella.

Tila Tequila is dating Ray J

There's been rumors flying around about Tila Tequila dating Diddy, Tyrese, and a crapload of other fellas. Tila took to her blog and her Twitter to finally set the record straight of who her secret fella is.

My baby is Ray J.....and no man has made me feel so loved and so happy in such a long time. We really do love each other and I am so happy to have FINALLY met someone who treats me with respect and love. He is so sweet to me and makes me melt everytime I see him.......I love my baby......so there you have it! Tila Tequila is officially dating Ray J!!!!!! I think we make the cutest couple....dont you?????

I wrote back to her asking if they started dating while he was filming his reality show For the Love of Ray J (which I didn't watch, but it looked like he got pretty physical with the girls) or if they started dating after it, but I haven't heard back yet. If I do, I'll give you the heads up!

Nick Cannon imposter Tweets to Mariah Carey

I'll be the first one to admit that I don't really think Mariah Carey is the smartest person in the world. Granted, I have nothing but a mental meltdown to back that up with, but I just really don't think she's one of these celebrities that's secretly a genius. That being said, I don't think that she's dumb enough to believe an imposter of her husband on Twitter. Nick Cannon gives the deets.

I switched my account name over to @NickCannon on Twitter recently and I just found out my old name @NickCannon4Real is now being used by an impostor. The fake is even sending messages to my wife. Hilarious.

Really? I don't understand why people think it's cool to impersonate celebrities online anyway -- does your life suck that much? But you're seriously going to attempt to be Nick Cannon (why him of all people to impersonate?) and actually get think HIS WIFE won't notice you're a fake?! I hope a Mexican pig rapes you in your sleep.

Evan Rachel Wood is NOT on Twitter

Any Twitterers who are following @evan_wood -- you're not following who you think you are. Evan Rachel Wood isn't on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, or any other social networking sites. She left a message for her fans on MTV.com -- but we got our hands on the video, which you can check out below.

I really hope she keeps the red hair and doesn't go back to jet black. She makes a really sexy redhead.

"Celebrity Dirt" gets some love from the celebs!!

We've written to celebrities before and gotten absolutely no response. I get that some of them have a ridiculous amount of friends, so it's probably tough to keep track of who writes to who. But at the same time, they seem to have no problem keep track of their convos with each other.

That being said, we wanna give both Fred Durst and Megan Fox a HUGE shoutout and THANK YOU for not being douchey celebs, but instead being the type of celebs that show they actually give a crap about their fans and appreciate the love by returning some! If you have Twitter and wanna follow 2 kick ass people, follow Fred here and follow Megan here. And thanks again, Meg and Fred!

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz race to 300,000 followers

Pete Wentz and his wifey Ashlee Simpson have been racing to 300,000 followers on Twitter. They've come up with a friendly little wager, whoever the winner is gets to take a picture of the loser in a bikini (or a speedo, in Pete's case.) Right now, Pete is up by a few thousand followers.

Now I'm cool with Pete and think he's hilarious and chill, but please, for the love of all that is sane, push Ashlee to 300,000 NOW!! I'd much rather see Ashlee in a bikini than Pete in a speedo (no disrespect, Pete.)

Ashton Kutcher Vs CNN -- The Push to 1 million followers on Twitter

Twitter has seriously become a lifeline, it's insane. SO many people were following Ashton Kutcher last night on UStream.tv while he broadcasted live with his countdown to 1,000,000 followers. This has been blown up huge over the last week between Ashton and CNN. Even Larry King was talking smack to Ashton, saying that he couldn't take down a network. And all of Perez Hilton's pushing for CNN didn't work either, because Ashton was the first to hit a million last night! He threw a little get together with his friends and Diddy even called up during the final push!

Ashton was AWESOME about this whole thing, too. He was talking about how one person's voice matters and how it wasn't about him, but it was about all of us. Since he won the race, he's sending a $100,000 check to the Malaria No More Fund, and even showed the check on camera. If you missed the live broadcast from last night, fear not! We got our hands on the video, which you can watch below! It's a little long, but Ashton and Diddy make it funny and make the time fly. So check it out, and congrats to Ashton!!

Another update on the Tila Tequila Twitter posts

This is seriously sounding like a soap opera now, but when we last updated you on the Tila Tequila/suicide Twitter post situation, we posted a couple of Tweets from Tyrese Gibson about him being scared and thinking Tila is actually contemplating suicide. Those posts from Tyrese were based off of asking "Tila" where they had last seen each other, and "she" responded with "At Robin Thick's bday party." Now, I didn't notice until now, but she spelled Robin's last name Thick, not Thicke. I'd hope that if she were at someone's birthday party, she'd know how to spell their last name. Anyway, moving on...

Demi Moore actually just posted a link on Twitter about this whole story, that's saying this is more than likely a double hack of their accounts, where the hacker is interacting with himself using both accounts to make it sound more believable. On top of that, Ellen's cousin (who actually started following us on Twitter), Jennifer Regan, said she called Ellen, who said it wasn't true, and Jennifer also said that LAPD confirmed it's all a sham.

Well, that's definitely a relief, both humanity-wise and because I was talking a lot of smack to that account, and would've felt terrible if it was actually Tila and not a hacker. Demi Moore is seriously the Twitter Lifeguard.

Update on Tila Tequila stuff

Okay, so now I'm legit worried, mainly because I was being and talking smack to who I thought was a hacker, and so did Diddy, and so did Tyrese -- until Tyrese asked a question to Tila about where they saw each other last. Tila answered the question correctly, which triggered these posts from Tyrese on his Twitter page.

If this is a legit, real thing -- someone check on Tila or get her some help? She's obviously really in a bad way if that's really her...

Celebrity Dirt and Diddy saving the world together!!

THANKFULLY after all the postings I've gone back and forth with the Tila hacker, Diddy was awake and ended up making a post about the whole situation, saying he's pretty sure it's a hacker or prank but to spread the word to make sure Tila is okay. Diddy, I'll never make fun of you or your Tweets again. Celebrity Dirt is officially (and respectfully) LOCKED IN with Diddy on the ptwitty nation!

And yet more Tila hacker posts

Now I KNOW it's a hacker based on this last post. For the record, Tila actually pressed charges yesterday on the hacker who was making posts that said Tila and her dog were dead after breaking into her house. The charges are for breaking and entering, and death threats. She also she said knows who the person is, and it's a female. And now, the post.

More posts from Tila Tequila's hacker

Tila Tequila's hacker has posted a few more messages on her Twitter page about killing herself on Saturday, saying that if she doesn't receive some miracle by Wednesday, she's "checking out" on Saturday. I'm at least hoping this is a hacker, because I'm really getting under "Tila's" skin, and the last thing I need on my conscience is a dead celebrity. But it makes too much sense that it's a hacker -- to go from bubbly posts to dark and dreary, there's no way it's her. Anyway, here are the other posts!

Tila Tequila's Twitter account hacked again

Not even a day after Tila Tequila's house was broken into, her Twitter account was hacked saying that she had been murdered, and her dog was stuffed in her trunk, the imposter is back at it again, leaving posts that Tila is going to kill herself on Saturday. Here are the last few strings of posts that have been left on her page -- mind you, her last post before the "WTF" post to John Mayer was 4 hours before the post to John, in which she said she was going to bed. P.S. when "she" says "No no my account isn't hacked" -- it's a response to me calling the hacker out. Because I can't help but pick a fight with bad people apparently. Check the posts below.

Tila Tequila is alive and well!

Tila Tequila fans were sent in a huge panic this morning when Tila's Twitter page had a weird and freaky message on it: Tila Tequila is dead. She hopped on much later to update everyone on what was going on, first and foremost that she isn't dead. We have the tweets she posted below, so you can check them out, but long story short, someone broke into her home, hacked into her Twitter account, and locked her dog in her trunk.

Real quick question -- when you're breaking into someone's home, why the f*ck would you spend time changing their Twitter postings?!

Mariah Carey tweets about accident

This just proves that social networking sites (like Twitter) are taking over the world. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were in a minor fender-bender over the weekend, and just about as immediately as it happened, Mariah hopped on Twitter to tweet about it.

so this is why I don't drive,or get up early. Just got into a little car accident in la..but we're all ok. Neither of us were driving.

First off, am I the only one that gets annoyed when people post sh*t like that to try and get attention and sympathy? And secondly, does anyone really care that Mariah got in a mini fender-bender? I think not.

Celebrity Dirt's is LOCKED IN with Diddy

If I get shot, you know Diddy did it.

Hugh Jackman is a fake tweeter!!

Hugh Jackman was outted as not being an authentic tweeter on Twitter when earlier this week "he" updated his page and referred to Sydney's popular Opera House as the Opera Centre. After getting some sh*t about it, Hugh came right out and apologized, saying that he relies on a staff member in America to blog for him.

I communicated it over the phone and when that got translated by someone American in my office it came out all wrong. I do know the Opera House is called the Opera House - I think I had my high school leaving assembly at the Opera House when I was 18 so I should know that one.

To his credit, there are other celebrities that have their marketing teams do their blogging for them, like 50 Cent and Britney Spears. It sucks when it's not authentic, but at least he's honest about it. Wouldn't it be easier to just log in and post it yourself though, instead of calling someone to do it?

Diddy is the most annoying person on Twitter

I thought about saying f*ck him and hitting the "unfollow" button, but then I wouldn't have gems like this to post. But seriously, "lock it in" is all Diddy ever says. I think if I ever see Diddy, I'm gonna give him a swift kick to the junk and just scream LOCK IT IN!!!

P.S. Those of you on Twitter (and even those who aren't, because I'll probably post it on here anyway), get ready for the Celebrity Dirt Twitter page to make fun of Diddy before the day is over.
