Miley Cyrus Teen Choice Awards performance

Apparently a ton of people are talking about Miley Cyrus' performance at the Teen Choice Awards, and not in a good way. While she was singing Party in the USA, she rocked a pair of Daisy Duke shorts and had a bra strap showing. At one point in the performance, she was dancing next to a pole that was set up on top of a little ice cream truck. People think she was dressed way too provocatively and the stripper pole routine overshadowed the actual performance. Check the video below, then you'll get my comments.



Okay...while I don't really understand the need for the pole, what's bad about it? She was literally just standing next to it for the most part, except one point when she went down. It's not like she was wrapping her body all around it or hanging from it..she stood next to it holding it. I dunno, maybe it's because I don't have a 16-year-old daughter, but I don't get what all the controversy is about.

Some creepy ass mother f*cker ended up being arrested for getting wayyyyy too close to a Miley Cyrus movie set. And generally it's not bad to get near a movie set, but when you're a 53-year-old dude walking around saying how you and Miley are meant for each other, and the chick is only like 16, yeah...your ass is going to jail. The creep's name is Mark McLeod, and he was arrested outside of the set for The Last Song, after telling fans that he and Miley made eye contact and fell in love. He also told officers that "nobody will ever be able to keep us apart. We're like one. I'll f*cking be with Miley...we're supposed to be together."

Connor Cruise wants to follow in the footsteps of his famous parents, Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, and break into acting. Since he's only 14, he thought he'd get some tips from someone his age -- so he ended up shadowing Miley Cyrus while she was on the set of Hannah Montana.

They were taken on the set of her new movie The Last Song, which is directed by Adam Shankman, who is in the picture on the left with her. People are saying that Miley and Adam are standing way too close together in that pic, and are saying she's being too provocative in the pic on the right.

Really? Okay...try this on for size. The frame for cell phone pics is pretty small, so you gotta get close together, ya dummies. And as far as the chair pic goes -- how about the five-year-olds that take pics of them straddling chairs in dance class? Yeah, I rest my case you toolbags.

For those of you who don't speak teenie bopper (and it creeps me out that I know how to)...the Jonas Brothers were on Larry King Live a couple of days ago, and they let it slip that Nick and Miley were back together. Just a few days after breaking up with jailbait Miley Cyrus, Justin Gaston was seen hanging out with his ex's sister Brandi! Weird.

On Monday morning, she threw up, "life will go on. you will smile again ... we will smile again." About 30 minutes later, Justin ended up posting this message: "How many tears are in there? They've gotta run out soon right?"

A lot of people are saying it had to do with Miley getting close with Nick Jonas again. They've been working on music together a lot lately, but have also been becoming closer friends again, which Justin was actually cool with as long as it didn't go past a friendship. Either way, I don't really think people give a rats ass about Miley and Justin anymore anyway, since we haven't talked about them in forever.

Miley Cyrus held a nice little Memorial Day Weekend BBQ on Sunday and invited a bunch of her friends. Included on the guest list was none other than puketacious newlyweds, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. During the BBQ, Miley took to her Twitter page to give a not-so-friendly update on Speidi, calling them fake and saying Heidi isn't who she says she is.

Miley Cyrus goes nuts on British TV

I get that Miley Cyrus is only 16 and she's still a fun-loving teenager. That being said, I've watched this interview with her on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross from last week in the UK a couple of times to try and figure out what I think of her actions -- is it me, or does she come across kind of...snobby? I get that she was trying to be funny and stuff, but...at the same time, I think she just kinda came across as disrespectful at some points. Check out the video below -- what do you think?
