Kelly Osbourne Vicodin addiction

In her new book Fierce (not to be confused with Beyonce's split personality...silly bitch), Kelly Osbourne is spilling her guts about her addiction to Vicodin and how it helped her cope with the fame she had from The Osbournes.

By this point I was waking up and emptying six Vicodin into my hand. Soon I was taking 50 pills a day. Most people would overdose on 10. My friends called me 'Noddy' because I fell asleep all the time. My parents suspected. Mum would say, 'Darling, are you taking something? Please tell your mummy.' But I was good at lying.

She said that after her final stint in rehab, for the first time ever she felt hopeful and like she had been given another chance. I just hope she's as cool on Dancing with the Stars and whatever else she works on after that as she was on The Osbournes.

Dr. Conrad Murray Propofol

I've tried to stay away from this stuff all week, and I've done a pretty good job, but I'd be a sh*tty gossip blogger if I didn't drop this knowledge on you. So to make sure we're on the same page, Dr. Conrad Murray already admitted 2 days after Michael Jackson died that he gave MJ some Propofol to help him sleep. On top of that, it looks like Dr. Murray himself bought the Propofol. And now it's looking like the Doc had a hidden stash of the drug at MJ's house in a hidden area, and that he also may have more hidden away somewhere. Investigators found 3 huge bottles and 5 small vials of Propofol at MJ's place, which doesn't look good for the Doc at all.

Billy Mays' family wants new autopsy

After autopsy results for Billy Mays came out and the medical examiner ruled that he has been using cocaine and other drugs, his family is questioning the results of the autopsy and want a second opinion.

We were totally unaware of any non-prescription drug usage and are actively considering an independent evaluation of the autopsy results. [The report] contains speculative conclusions that are frankly unnecessary and tend to obscure the conclusion that Billy suffered from chronic, untreated hypertension, which only demonstrates how important it is to regularly monitor one's health.

Billy Mays cocaine

Autopsy results are in on famous pitchman Billy Mays, and it looks like there were traces of cocaine in his system. And by traces, I mean the medical examiner is saying that cocaine is a major reason why Billy died in his sleep back in June. That wasn't the only drug found in Billy's system though. There were also traces of hydrocodone, oxycodone, and tramadol. His official cause of death was heart disease, but the cocaine was a huge contributing factor.

No disrespect, but...is anyone really surprised? The dude was f*cking whacked out of his mind, which obviously made him popular, but...totally obvious.

Michael Douglas son arrested

Michael Douglas' 30-year-old son Cameron was arrested about a week ago after being busted in a drug sting by police. Cameron was selling a ridiculous amount of crystal meth at the Gansevoort Hotel in Manhattan. The cops said he had about a half-pound of the drug on him when he was nabbed. And this isn't Cameron's first run-in with the law either -- he was arrested back in 2007 for cocaine charges.

Jason Bateman Details magazine

Jason Bateman rocks the cover of Details magazine for the August issue, and talks about his old school drug use/partying days.

His drug use: "Booze was what would make me want to stay out all night and do some blow or smoke a joint or whatever, so shutting that off was key. It's like ketchup and French fries -- I don't want one without the other. So that's the moment: Do you want to continue to be great at being in your twenties, or do you want to step up and graduate into adulthood?"

The partying: "It was like Risky Business for 10 years. My parents were out of town, they left me a bunch of money, the car, and the house, and I didn't know when they were coming home. I'd worked so hard that by the time I was 20, I wanted to play hard. And I did that really well."

Check out the other pics from his Details spread below.

Nicole Bobek arrested

She hasn't been relevant since the mid-90's, but former figure skater Nicole Bobek was arrested last week for being part of a New Jersey drug ring. She faces up to 10 years in prison for distributing meth if she's convicted.

I realize she looks like absolute sh*tty hell right now, but check out how she looked 10-15 years ago when she was in her prime and winning championships on the ice.

Such a total disappointment.

Jay Bennett died of overdose

We threw up a post about a month ago reporting on the death of ex-Wilco member Jay Bennett. He was randomly found dead at his home, so no one really knew what the cause was. After an autopsy, it turns out that Jay died of an overdose of the painkiller fentanyl, which is usually prescribed by doctors to fight chronic pain. The pills he had were legit and prescribed by his doctor for horrible hip pain brought on from a decade-old hip injury. The pain was so severe that he became focused on raising enough money to get hip surgery.

R.I.P. Jay, and our thoughts go out to his family after finding out this news. I'm gonna go out on a limb though and call it an accidental overdose.

Jodie Sweetin reveals all in new book

More stories of tell-all books for you -- former Full House star-turned meth addict-turned Mom, Jodie Sweetin, is gonna put the ole pen to paper and bust out a biography called UnSweetined. In the book, she plans to dish all the dirt on her past as a drug user and abuser, including stories about becoming hooked on meth, cocaine, and ecstacy while travelling the country to give anti-drug speeches.

It's good to see that she's getting her life back together, especially since she has a daughter. Plus, she's got the girl next door look, so it'd totally break your heart (or at least mine) to know she's still a user. Congrats for taking the next step, Jodie!

Chris Benoit's doctor sentenced

Chris Benoit's doctor was sentenced to 10 years in prison yesterday for illegally prescribing painkillers and other drugs to his patients. Dr. Phil Astin prescribed meds to known addicts for years, and was thrown into the spotlight after the Benoit Family deaths back in June of 2007. On top of that, at least 2 of the patients that Dr. Astin was treating ended up dying because of a huge oversight of what meds they were taking. During the Benoit investigation, prosecutors couldn't tell whether steroids that Dr. Astin prescribed Chris played a part in the deaths, which was ruled a double murder suicide.

I could talk all day about the gaps in the Benoit case goes, especially considering I got sidetracked on YouTube while I was trying to find a picture of Chris to use and ended up spending an hour looking at conspiracy theories. But this post isn't about whether or not Chris actually killed his family and then himself, it's about a d*ckbag doctor being put behind bars for harming and risking the lives of his patients.

Steve-O speaks on drugs, rehab, and a comeback

Steve-O has been making people laugh for a while by acting like a...well, a jackass. His claim to fame is wearing leopard print G-strings while doing some crazy sh*t either on Jackass or WildBoyz (his show with Chris Pontius.) Little did we know he was actually in the middle of a downward spiral during all this, and on the heels of his MTV special coming out (it debuted last night) Steve-O: Demise and Rise, he sat down for an interview with our friends at Inside/TV to discuss what it was like to hit rock bottom and ask for help.

Did your time on Dancing help you feel like you're back? Um ... eh ... it made me feel good to get that much support from the fans. That was really, really awesome. As far as "I'm back!," I don't know if I really felt that comfortable about all that, but it was awesome. I'm a horrible dancer [laughs] and I stayed in the competition for six weeks ... that's hilarious.

What can you tell us about this documentary you shot for MTV? It's a very graphic documentary about my descent into madness and drugs and addiction. I guess everyone kind of considers it to be like a public service announcement that might help people. If that's the case, then that's cool with me ... [laughs] ... it's just a really graphic, gnarly documentary, and it is what it is. I feel like when I was getting loaded, I would watch that Intervention show, and I would just be comforted that the people on that show had bigger problems than I did. Now, I think this puts me right up there with them. [Laughs]

So what was the turning point for you, that made you decide to get clean? When I first decided to really give sobriety a true shot, I was motivated by the idea of being like a role model and doing a lot of good in the world. That was kind of the wrong approach to it, and it took me a while to realize that I needed to be getting sober for myself so I wouldn't have to be this jerk that I'd been in the past. So, I don't know how I feel about being a role model character -- I just don't want to be a jerk, and that's my motivation for staying sober.

At your lowest point, how bad did things get for you? I was nuts. I got really far outta my mind. At the when I was filming all this crazy stuff, when I was doing drugs, I thought everything was just genius! It took me kind of a while to realize that stuff wasn't that cool. I filmed a lot of it -- when I say I was pretty far out of my mind, I was hearing voices in my head and I was seeing people that weren't there. Really, just crazy auditory, visual, tactile hallucinations. I was in complete psychosis. It's pretty disturbing footage. To watch that seems like it would deter me from wanting to get loaded again, but that's not how it works. I watched it once and it just triggered me to want to get high. So it's not a good idea for me to watch it ... anybody that really cares about me, it's a tough watch. There's a lot of footage of me doing drugs -- I never was a shooter upper. I was a swallower, a snorter, a huffer and a smoker -- not a shooter. I had boundaries. I was kind of a garbage can, but I never smoked crack, and I never did heroin -- and, although I never turned it down, I never really went out to go find crystal meth. [Laughs] So yeah, I had boundaries.

So are you at the point now where you can watch this and be OK, or is it too much? This documentary feels to me like it's more likely to get me loaded than keep me sober, so I'm just kinda holding onto my support system and working to get through this. I think that what we've done, together with MTV, is provided some sensational programming to entertain people, because they love seeing other people suffer. [Like Jackass], I can't imagine that it wouldn't have a pretty major warning on there. [Laughs] When this documentary airs, you can trust that I'll be tuned in to Tough Love on VH1. [Laughs]

It's not cool to be Coolio

Remember that guy with the crazy hair that sang that song Gangsta's Paradise? You may know him better as the guy Weird Al spoofed with his hit song Amish Paradise. Anyway, Coolio, who hasn't done anything (outside of a reality TV show) since I was playing cops and robbers on the playground, was arrested at a hotel for drug possession. During a routine security search, Coolio was found to have crack cocaine on him. He also faces a misdemeanor battery charge for grabbing the security officer's arm to try and stop the search from happening.

Hey, at this point for Coolio, any press is good press.

Jodie Sweetin falls off the wagon

While filming a movie in North Carolina, Jodie Sweetin was seen snorting some coke (no, not the cola). She can pretty much kiss any kind of custody of her 9-month-old daughter goodbye. She's still wrapped up in a hardcore divorce battle with Cody Herpin, who actually called her an unfit mother last month and said she's driven drunk with her daughter in the car.

I may have had a crush on Jodie way back in the day, but screw that. If she's hittin the coke again, take that kid away from her.

Details on Winona Ryder's air-sickness

We reported on Winona Ryder having to be rushed to a hospital after becoming ill on a flight the other day, but details have just been released on what exactly went down with her. She overdosed on Xanax, and sources say she "turned a deathly shade of pale."

Stealing from stores, OD'ing on Xanax...oh Winona. How can such a cute woman make such silly mistakes?

Lindsay Lohan sued for wild chase

Lindsay Lohan is being sued by three people she was at a party with last July for initiating a high speed chase. Apparently, the three fellas left the party, followed by one of the guy's girlfriends and Lindsay's assistant. Lindsay followed them out of the party, screaming at the girlfriend along the way. The girlfriend got in her car and started to drive away.

That's when the guys say that Lindsay jumped into the open driver's seat of their car and started chasing the girlfriend. They tried to stop her and even tried to grab the wheel and control it over her, but she threatened to sue them. Hours later, Lindsay was pulled over and arrested for drunk driving and cocaine possession.

The guys are looking for $25,000 for Lindsay putting their lives in harm's way, depriving them of their personal liberty, and going beyond reasonable bounds of decency or civilized conduct. Man, that girl used to be bat sh*t crazy, huh?!

Colin Farrell says he was dying

Colin Farrell recently sat down with the Huffington Post to open up about his past, and he was pretty candid, starting off by saying that he pretty much lived 16 years of his life drunk and high.

That changed in December of 2005, when he finished filming Miami Vice and decided he needed to get his act together. He checked into rehab for 5 weeks and hasn't looked back since. He said that he didn't think he was chemically imbalanced and depressed, but he just went through a rough patch and decided to "indulge it."

Believe it or not, I think it's cool when celebrities come out about their problems like this. It just shows that they're human and just like us, and if they can overcome their issues, why can't we?

Kings of Leon ditch the drugs

Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill tells Spinner.com that taking drugs back in the day ruined everything, but now they're clean and found the sound they want.

No drugs these days, but ... we could fill 1,000 swimming pools with what we've drunk over the past five years.

At least they're still having some boozing fun.
