Blink-182 postpones tour dates

After the sudden death of DJ AM (Adam Goldstein), Blink-182 has decided to cancel their next few tour dates so that drummer Travis Barker has time to grieve and get his mind straight before they head back out. They left an official statement about it on their website.

After much thought and consideration, Blink-182 has rescheduled their next two shows in order for Travis Barker to mourn the loss of his dear friend Adam Goldstein.

You gotta feel bad for this guy -- a year ago he barely survives a plane crash with the guy, and then he randomly finds out one of his best friends is found dead? Celebrity Dirt has your back, Travis!

DJ AM and Travis Barker were obviously tight as hell since they performed together a lot, but also because they survived that plane crash together one year ago. Travis wrote a bunch of Tweets about AM's death, which you can check out below.

Travis Barker talks smack about Shanna Moakler

Travis Barker took his kiddies to the premiere of Up yesterday afternoon, but along the way he talked some smack about his ex-wife/childrens' mother Shanna Moakler, saying that kids aren't supposed to be used as weapons, deadbeat moms suck, and he also mentioned in later Tweets not shown above that he's been their mother and father since birth.

High-five to Travis, because Shanna totally comes across about as good of a mother as Kate Gosselin, which is not good at all and nothing but an attention whore.

Shanna Moakler blogs about her breakup with Travis Barker

Travis Barker posted on Twitter yesterday about he and on-and-off girlfriend/wife Shanna Moakler breaking up for the 4,983rd time. Usually, when she's asked about a breakup, Shanna keeps her mouth shut. But after being accused of having a fling with Gerard Butler, she decided to take to her blog and tell her side of the story.

Just so there is no confusion or 'source' to attack my character, I am saying my side. Travis and I were very much together in September when the horrific [jet crash] happened. Not only did I fly to Georgia, I stayed by his side the entire stay and also for the bus ride home to L.A. I think any human being with a heart ... would do the same. (After L.A.) I came across numerous romantic emails with MANY other woman -- some famous, some I personally knew -- all heart breaking.

It's tough to figure out who to side with/believe. On the one hand, it sounds like Shanna has solid proof that Travis was messing around on her, but at the same time, you can't think anything bad of Travis after his plane crash last summer, ya know? You always wanna side with him. We'll see what happens from here.

Blink is back!!!

This has been out there for a while, but I screwed the pooch and didn't get a chance to post it right away (which actually means it slipped my mind.) There were rumors of a Blink-182 reunion for a while, then the fellas made it official when the presented an award together on stage at the GRAMMYs. They posted an official announcement on their website announcing their reunion.

Hi. We're Blink-182. This past week there've been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. To put it simply, We're back. We mean, really back. Picking up where we left off and then some. In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Travis Barker and DJ AM have scheduled their first gig together since their plane crash a few months ago -- they're going to rock the stage at The Lot in West Hollywood at New Year's Nation's Los Angeles New Year's Eve Party on December 31. Travis said he's "ready to get back on stage with AM and continue to rock the house."

Travis Barker made his first public appearance since being involved in that fiery and fatal plane crash over a month ago this past weekend.

He looks great, all things considered! I'm not sure how I'm feeling about that goatee though, but I'll let it slide because he's the effing man.

Travis Barker goes home

Travis Barker was sent home from the burn center in Los Angeles over the weekend about a month after that horrible plane crash. It's AWESOME to see him doing well, and hopefully he'll be banging those drums soon enough.

DJ AM opens up about plane crash

In his first interview since his horrific plane crash a month ago, DJ AM sat down with People magazine to discuss what happened that night on the plane, and what it's been like for him since.

AM calls himself "the luckiest man alive" and says that he actually doesn't even know what happened to cause the crash. Once he boarded the plane, he kicked off his shoes and went to sleep, and the next thing he remembers is crashing into something and hearing Travis scream that they needed to get off the plane.

He said that Travis jerked open a door and slid down a wing of the plane that was already on fire, and AM himself actually had to jump through a fireball to bail out. He busted out the ole "stop, drop, and roll" then helped Travis extinguish his flames, which caused even more damage to AM. When it was all said and done, his eyebrows and layers of skin were burned off his face, his forehead was gouged and he had skin hanging off of his arm.

Sounds pretty scary, and makes me even more glad that they made it out and are recovering. And again, R.I.P. to the 4 people who lost their lives that night.

Travis Barker blogs from bed

Travis Barker posted a blog on his Myspace Celebrity Blog page about the fatal flight he was on a few weeks ago, seeing DJ AM, and rumors about his ex-wife Shanna Moakler. You can check out the blog right here. He also has pictures posted of him in his hospital bed.

The good news out of all of this right now is that he can move his fingers and thumb on his right hand, which he says is "huge." So it looks like he'll definitely be able to drum again, but he's mostly looking forward to getting back to his kids. He's seriously the man.

Travis Barker thankful to be alive

Travis Barker sat down with Us Weekly magazine to discuss the horrible plane crash that only he and DJ AM survived.

I hate planes. My biggest fear ever is to be involved in a plane crash, so when that happened ... well, I'm just thankful to be alive! I'm just grateful to be here at all.

Travis actually was hospitalized in Georgia, but is being treated at a burn center in L.A. right now. He didn't fly out there, though. He rented a bus to travel cross-country, and was joined by his father and ex Shanna Moakler. All of us here at Celebrity Dirt are more than ecstatic that he's alive and well!

Travis Barker released from hospital

Just a few days after his buddy DJ AM was released from the hospital, Travis Barker was released yesterday morning after spending 9 days in the hospital for second and third degree burns. He's in good condition and trying to stay upbeat.

AWESOME to hear. Pound those drums soon, Travis!

Update on Travis Barker and DJ AM

After their plane crash late Friday night in which Travis Barker's agent and bodyguard both died along with the 2 pilots, Travis and DJ AM are listed in critical but stable condition. They should both fully recover from both of their burns, so we'll hear plenty more from TRVSDJAM, friends!
