New York Yankees' third baseman Alex Rodriguez was seen dining with one of his many skanks. He apparently had a little spaghetti sauce on his face though, so used a $100 bill as a napkin to wipe it off.

MLB pitcher arrested at wedding

I tiptoe around sports stories, since this is a celebrity gossip blog, but sports stars are celebrities too. Plus, this story is solid gold. Brandon Backe, pitcher for the Houston Astros, was arrested at a wedding over the weekend. Not because he was too drunk, but because he got in a fight.

If that doesn't reek of white trash, I don't know what does.

Final game played at Yankee Stadium

Derek Jeter and the rest of the New York Yankees played their final game at Yankee Stadium last night, beating the Baltimore Orioles 7-3. The Yanks will move into a new stadium across the street next season. People who were there told me it was a real emotional night for any baseball fan, whether you like the Yanks or not.

Hope you enjoyed last night's game, Yanks. You can reflect on it all October long while the Red Sox are in the postseason and you're sitting at home.

The Seattle Supersonics are no more. The NBA team was sold and will be re-locating to Oklahoma City, leaving the team name and colors behind. So everyone is wondering what the new team name will be and how it will be decided. I actually have a suggestion.
