Kelis child support case

Just a few days after Kelis popped her son Knight out of her mommy spot, she was awarded spousal and child support by a judge. The court decided yesterday that Nas will have to pay her soon-to-be ex-wife $55,000 a month, and also has to pay all of Kelis' hospital, prenatal expenses, and lawyer's fees. Nas fired back, saying that he doesn't have enough money to pay all of that. He said his monthly income is $147,000 (must be nice) and his monthly expenses are $71,000 (how the f*ck do you spend 70 G's in a month?!)

Kelis hasn't commented on Nas crying poor yet, but I said it once and I'll say it again...that dude is f*cked. The guy NEVER wins in a court case between a mother and father.

Kelis gives birth

Congrats goes out to Nas and his ex-wife Kelis, who just popped out their baby son Knight on Tuesday. Knight was born just two months after Kelis filed for divorce from Nas, citing verbal abuse and infidelity.

No offense Kelis, but you're not exactly a looker...be glad he married you in the first place. (Then again, he's not much of anything either.)

Nas won't give Kelis spousal support

I threw up a post a couple of weeks ago talking about how Nas and Kelis are calling it quits. Meanwhile, Kelis is 8 months pregnant and she's actually the one that filed for divorce. She requested child support, spousal support, and joint custody of their unborn child. Nas seems like he'll be a good father, because he has no problem with giving child support or sharing joint custody, but he has a huge problem with giving spousal support. He asked the judge to deny Kelis' request for spousal support, and also requested that she pay her own legal fees. No word on the judge's decision yet.

Why the hell does Kelis need spousal support? Because she hasn't had a big hit since Milkshake? I can see the child support and I totally agree with it. But spousal support? I just don't get it -- get off your ass and get a job instead of trying to mooch money off of your soon-to-be ex-husband. (And for the record, I'd say that about a guy trying to get money from a girl, too.)

Nas and Kelis are getting a divorce

Nas and Kelis have been married since 2003. Nas and Kelis are expecting a baby in a couple of months. Nas and Kelis won't be together for that birth. It seems like a mega shocking move (at least to me, since they seem so happy in pics), but Kelis filed for divorce yesterday, going with the ole "irreconcilable differences" reasoning.

I'm actually kinda sad for 'em. They just seemed like a good fit together, ya know? Always seemed to look/act cute in public, which is saying a lot from me since I think Kelis is NOT good-looking in the least.

Nas and Kelis expecting first child

Nas and Kelis (who, for the record, I had no frickin clue were married) are expecting their first child together. Kelis is in her first trimester and is already rocking a little baby bump. It'll be her first child and Nas' second.

Guess her milkshake is gonna start bringing the babies to the yard.
