John Hawkes Lost

Actor John Hawkes has just signed on for a role in the final season of Lost. It's not known what impact his character will have on the show, but he's playing a "spokesperson and translator for the president of a foreign corporation" named Lennon. It'll be interesting to see how he's worked in and what happens with the show overall.

Henry Ian Cusick from "Lost" sued for sexual harrassment

Lost's Henry Ian Cusick is being sued by a former ABC employee who says she was fired for reporting sexual harrassment from Henry. The fired employee, Chelsea Stone, said that she was fired 12 days after going to producers/higher-ups and saying that Henry grabbed her butt, fondled her breasts, and kissed her on the lips. She said he also "placed his face on top of my breasts, moving his face from side to side."

Henry! You motorboatin' son of a bitch! In all seriousness though, why is Chelsea just stopping at suing Henry? I'd sue ABC too for wrongful firing! When she reported the incident, they told her to "just avoid him," then helped her avoid him by firing her. Douchebags.

Matthew Fox pumped about Lost ending next year

Lost fans better enjoy the next couple of seasons of their favorite show, because that's all their going to get. Lost has just gotten an ending date of sometime in 2010, and one of the show's stars, Matthew Fox, couldn't be happier.

Personally, it's a relief. I owe this show a great amount, and I think it's exceptionally good . . . [but] I am looking forward to the freedom that comes with not working on one project professionally. All of us knew that if the show was strung out indefinitely, it was going to ruin the story. It’s not like a doctor drama, where you have a new case each week.

He makes a pretty good point. It's not a show like CSI or ER that can last over 10 seasons, because the storyline never changes. It's always people on an island, not new cases to work on in a hospital or at a crime scene.
