Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Derek Hough and his actress girlfriend Shannon Elizabeth have both confirmed that they've split up. They threw up matching Tweets about it over the weekend to let their fans know directly. Check them out below.

Joe Jonas showed off his sensitive side during a show in Detroit on Sunday and actually cried on stage during his performance of I Gotta Find You. You can check out the video below, but heads up...whoever was recording it was screaming their little annoying teeny bopper head off.



At the same show, he also changed the lyrics in Much Better from "Get a rep for breakin' hearts, now I'm done with superstars" to "Get a rep for breakin' hearts, now I'm done with movie stars" -- that was a nice little shot at Camilla Belle, who broke up with him a few days ago. I wonder how wide the smile on Taylor Swift's face is right now.

Demi Lovato Trace Cyrus split

After a ton of rumors were flying around about Demi Lovato and Trace Cyrus breaking up, Trace confirmed it to People magazine the other day.

It's something I really wanted to make work. But unfortunately, we both have very busy schedules. When someone is that much younger, you're looking for different things in relationships. Maybe when she's older and we've both matured, we'll be looking for the same thing and it can work out. We gave it a shot and that's all you can do. Every time I hung out with that girl or talked on the phone with her, it was amazing. She's someone I can totally relate to.

Janet Jackson Jermaine Dupri split

A grieving Janet Jackson has another loss to mourn -- her 7 year relationship with producer Jermaine Dupri has ended just weeks after her brother died. Janet and Jermaine have been on the rocks for a while, according to friends, which is one reason why he was noticeably absent from MJ's memorial service. Friends are also saying that they've been going in different directions for a while and their personalities clash -- JD loves being in the limelight and interacting with everyone, but Janet is more of a private person.

Either way, you gotta feel for Janet. Although I don't think she's really worrying about the breakup right now -- she seems more focused on helping her mother Katherine care for her niece Paris and her nephews Paris I and Paris II.

Jessica Simpson Tony Romo split

Dallas Cowboys' Quarterback Tony Romo gave Jessica Simpson the ole heave-ho just a day before her 29th birthday. A source is saying that she's totally heartbroken and still loves Tony, but with him focusing on his career and her about to start shooting her show, it's probably for the best. They started dating back in November 2007.

That's a nice, douchebag birthday gift for your cute, southern belle girlfriend's birthday, huh? "Hey honey, I know your birthday is coming up and all, but I don't think this is working out. I'm too busy stuck in my own ego, and I'm embarrassed by all the pics of you in mommy jeans, so uhh...I'm breaking up with you. But I hope you have a good 29th!"

Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo split

After denying breakup rumors for what seemed like months, Vanessa Minnillo's rep has released an official statement that her and Nick Lachey have split up. The rep said that the split was amicable and they "remain good friends who still greatly care for one another."

Bullsh*t, they hate each other and we all know it. If they still greatly cared for each other and were good friends, they'd still be together. That excuse only works if you try dating your best friend and realize after the first kiss or whatever that it's like kissing your sister, brother, or Aunt Tilda.

Kristen Stewart dumps boyfriend

Fellas, if you're feeling Twilight star Kristen Stewart, then get your A-game ready, because she's back on the market. Kristen went a few months without seeing her boyfriend of 3 years, actor Michael Angarano, while she was filming New Moon. She finally hit up L.A. (where he lives) last week, but wasn't seen out with him at all. Anywhere. She dumped him shortly after. No real reason was given, but it's rumored that she was getting a bit jealous of his co-star Emilie de Ravin.

Normally I'd be telling everyone to back off because she's mine, but I'm just not really feeling Kristen. Actually, I don't even really think she's that attractive. Anyone with me, or have I just just been hitting the nose candy too much?

Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt split

Are we really surprised? After only 6 months of dating and engagement rumors with yet another boyfriend, Paris Hilton has split from boyfriend Doug Reinhardt. No details on why they split up, but Paris rep released a statement saying it's true they split, they're still friends (bullsh*t) and they want their privacy respected.

For the record, I totally called this split last week when I posted a story about Doug appearing on Season 3 of Paris Hilton's My New BFF. You can't see me (what up John Cena?) but I'm taking my bows right now.

Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas getting back together!!

It's a story that's perfect for a tweenybopper movie -- Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas are getting back together. A couple weeks ago. Miley was a guest on On Air with Ryan Seacrest at KIIS-FM in L.A. and told Ryan that her and Nick talk on the phone all the time and they really love each other and she's glad that he's really one of her best friends. And it may have been just best friends then, but now, it's more. Nick and Miley have been on-set shooting a music video together, and it looks like the flame has rekindled. In fact, recently, Miley was over Nick's place and they were playing a game of tonsil hockey that even the Boston Bruins would be jealous of.

The big problem now is that Miley's stressing over having to tell her underwear model boyfriend, Justin Gaston, that the show's over. She's apparently cried about it and said she doesn't know how to do it, but Nick has been putting his foot down and demanding that she tell Justin because it's the right thing to do. Although, I'm thinking that if he didn't know before and Miley won't tell him -- he knows now. Either way, congrats to Miley and Nick...they're clearly a better fit, and you KNOW Billy Ray is doing backflips with his cowboy hat on right now.

Kate Hudson dumps Owen Wilson

Oh boy...get ready for Owen Wilson suicide attempt v2.0. Kate Hudson dumped him over the weekend because she's not ready to commit, meanwhile Owen was talking to her about marriage. He proposed soon after they got back together, but Kate's just not feeling marriage anymore, and she even said in an inteview earlier this year that it's not important to her anymore.

Is it me, or does Owen just seem totally emotionally unstable? He OD'ed and almost died after their first break-up, then he gets back together with her and pops the question right away? I dunno..I'd put him on suicide watch. And I'm not even joking this time.

Lindsay Lohan confirms split with Samantha Ronson

Although she denied the rumors tha her and Samantha Ronson had split up on Sunday, Lindsay Lohan finally admitted it yesterday to UsMagazine.com, saying that they're "taking a little break so I can focus on myself." Someone should probably tell LiLo what a break actually is, because this isn't one. Sam has changed the locks to her home that LiLo had been living in the last 6 months, and she also had security block her from coming into a party she was DJing for her sister Charlotte over the weekend. Afterwards, Lindsay wrote on Sam's Twitter page, "So-you win, you broke my heart. now go away. i loved you."

Sam finally put her foot down. About time. $20 says Lindsay ends up in rehab again within the next 3 months.

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman split again

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman have split up again after trying to give it another go-around. They split around this time last year, and then got back together last fall before this recent breakup. It sounds like Sarah initiated it, and Jimmy is taking it really hard. His friends are saying he thinks it's actually the end this time, and he's even more bummed because he just bought a new house and has no one to share it with.

Poor fella. He seems like a real nice guy.

All you Dancing with the Stars fans -- good news for ya!! Carrie Ann Inaba is back on the market!! The 41-year-old judge just broke up with her 26-year-old boyfriend, dancer Artem Chigvintsev, who she met while he was on So You Think You Can Dance. They dated for almost 3 years, and she said he was the most grounded person she's ever met and dated.

Well, that's because she hasn't gotten a dose of Jadditude yet!

Two weeks ago they were planning a multi-million dollar wedding, and now they're done! Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault called off their engagement over the weekend.
