Colin Farrell credits his son with saving his life

Colin Farrell was interviewed by OK! UK recently and talked about how his son James, who suffers from a nerve disorder, actually saved his life.

I don’t know if I would be here if I hadn’t had him. He was a huge part of me going in and making certain changes in my life. I had a blast of a time. I went over to Los Angeles and it was handed to me on a plate, parties in the Playboy mansion and this and that and the other. The negative aspect to all this good fortune was loneliness. I never figured it out. I just had a broken heart and was profoundly sad. I had all these wonderful things in my life and yet I found myself at this point.

Colin finally checked into rehab after filming the movie Miami Vice in 2005. He had James with model Kim Bordenave. It's really good to see that everything worked out for the best and he's on the right track -- it looked like he might be another Hollywood tragedy for a little while.

Since his split with ex-girlfriend Emma Forrest, Colin Farrell has decided to go celibate and swear off women. He said he's got a "new outlook on life" and has decided to end his womanizing ways.

So basically, if you're at the grocery store and walk by Colin and see his shopping cart filled with a sh*t ton of Vaseline, you'll know why.

Just a couple of weeks after splitting up with his girlfriend Emma Forrest, it looks like Colin Farrell is already eyeing the next notch on his belt. He's working on a movie with Keira Knightley right now, and apparently he turned to her after his split with Emma, which, if you remember, was awesomely over her being pissed off that he didn't thank her in his Oscar speech.

Maybe while he's at it, Colin can feed Keira something. She could use it.

Colin Farrell dumps his girlfriend

Well, yesterday I told the fellas to get their A-game ready because Hayden Panettiere is single, and now, the ladies can get excited too. Colin Farrell is back on the market after dumping his girlfriend of a year, English writer Emma Forrest. Emma kept nagging Colin to meet his family and he wasn't ready to introduce them yet. She also got pissed at him because he didn't mention her or thank her in his Golden Globes award speech that he won for the movie In Bruges, which is coincidentally the movie where Colin and Emma met.

Bet she wishes she would've just kept her mouth shut now, huh? Considering she's not all that attractive, and she was dating a guy that tons of ladies want.

Colin Farrell says he was dying

Colin Farrell recently sat down with the Huffington Post to open up about his past, and he was pretty candid, starting off by saying that he pretty much lived 16 years of his life drunk and high.

That changed in December of 2005, when he finished filming Miami Vice and decided he needed to get his act together. He checked into rehab for 5 weeks and hasn't looked back since. He said that he didn't think he was chemically imbalanced and depressed, but he just went through a rough patch and decided to "indulge it."

Believe it or not, I think it's cool when celebrities come out about their problems like this. It just shows that they're human and just like us, and if they can overcome their issues, why can't we?

Colin Farrell has always been known as a bad boy that loves himself some booze, boobs, and dumb broads. But has the wild man finally been tamed? According to The Sun, Colin has changed his ways since he started dating music writer Emma Forrest six months ago. The two tried to keep their relationship underwraps for a while, but were spotted on a date in Hollywood yesterday. A source tells The Sun:

Colin is a changed man. He has knocked the drinking on the head and is enjoying life in a completely different way. Emma has been a steadying influence. They have spent months trying to keep the relationship secret because they are falling madly in love. In the past, Colin has gone for stereotypical movie star girlfriends but Emma has offered him something completely different.
