The truth about Tina Fey's scar

Over the years, a lot of you may have noticed the scar on Tina Fey's left cheek and wondered where it came from. It's not something she's exactly comfortable talking about, but her husband spills the beans in the latest Vanity Fair. He said when Tina was 5, some random stranger slashed her in the face in her front yard.

That scar was fascinating to me. This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life.

Random stranger slashes a 5-year-old girl in the face in her front yard? People are f**ked. But hey, Tina's still uber hot (just not in this pic), so it's all good.

Celebrity alter-egos

It's not really that well-known, but tons of celebrities use alter-ego/alias names when they check into hotels purely for security reasons. For example, when Sarah Palin made her appearance on Saturday Night Live last month, she checked into her hotel as "Tina" (as in Fey...hey, look who has a sense of humor!) Check out other celebrity alter-egos right here.

John McCain on SNL

I dropped the ball on this one big time. I meant to post it Monday, but got totally sidetracked. John McCain made 2 appearances on this past weekend's Saturday Night Live, even appearing with Tina Fey dressed up as Sarah Palin. News from backstage though is that McCain was a little standoff-ish toward her, and speculation is because he wasn't a fan of the jokes about Palin. But either way, check out his two skits below!

Tina Fey and Sarah Palin BFF?

You would think that Sarah Palin would be a little hostile toward Tina Fey for mocking her for countless weeks on Saturday Night Live, but that's not the case. Nothing against the Governette, but she just seems like she'd have the opposite of a good sense of humor. But, apparently I was uber wrong.

When Sarah was actually on SNL a couple of weeks ago, she offered to have her daughter Bristol babysit Tina's daughter Alice. Now that was a very kind gesture, don't you think?

But seriously, like Tina Fey would want Sarah's 17-year-old knocked up daughter to spend ANY alone time with Alice. Hell, she'd probably be knocked up herself in the 90 minutes Bristol would be watching her!

Tina Fey signs a book deal

Just days after returning to SNL for another spoof on Sarah Palin, Tina Fey has inked a $5 million book deal with Little, Brown Book Group. The book won't be a memoir, but it's being pitched as more of nonfiction humor.

I can't remember the last book I read (actually I can, it was a book about the 2004 Red Sox winning the World Series), but I'd pick this book up and give it a read. Tina Fey is hilarious (and effing HOT!)

Tina Fey returns to SNL as Sarah Palin

Tina Fey was back on Saturday Night Live this past weekend to reprise her role as Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. They poked fun of the interviews Sarah did where she more or less sounded...umm...the opposite of what is smart. Check out the video Tina below!
