Idris Elba punches into "The Office"

Actor Idris Elba is heading back to the small screen and picking up a starring role in The Office. Idris is going to play the rival to Dunder Mifflin's regional manager Michael Scott, who is obviously played by the one and only Steve Carrell. He should be starting up pretty soon.

Idris starred on the HBO show The Wire, before his stop at The Office. He was also named in the Top 30 Sexiest Black Film Actors of All Time by BlackVoices.com.

Office Star Arrested For Drugs

I guess this happened a month ago but still.. haha

The L.A. County D.A. has charged Craig Robinson -- who plays Darryl in THE OFFICE and also stars in PINEAPPLE EXPRESS -- with possession of meth and ecstasy and being under the influence of cocaine, amphetamines and cannabinoids. He was pulled over for a traffic violation and they found all of the above in his car... moron.

In one of the best viral marketing campaigns ever, Rainn Wilson (who plays Dwight in The Office) has "kidnapped" his co-star Jenna and locked her in his trunk. The only way to get her released is to go see his new movie, The Rocker, and when the flick grosses $18.7 mil, she'll be released. And get a peach smoothie. He wrote this ransom note on Myspace, and made this video:

Amy Poehler heading to The Office?

Amy Poehler is in talks with NBC to join the cast of the spinoff of The Office. Her name was thrown around in April, but then brought up again when serious talks started in June. The show will debut after the Super Bowl.

She's seriously super hot.

The Office won me back!

After last week's poopy episode, The Office came back this week with a classic! Filled with a funny situation (the chair model love affair), great one liners, some twists, and a great closing scene. Everything a good Office episode should be!

And keep in mind --- the majority of the entire episode was shot IN THE OFFICE!!!
