Lynne Spears blames herself for Brit's problems

Lynne Spears is speaking out about her involvement in Britney's meltdown over the last year and a half, and she's actually taking the blame for it.

I can laugh about it now, but did I feel that way at the time? Yes, I did and, if I'm being totally honest, I still do. When her life was such a success, what did she need me for? And when things took a turn for the worse, I was out, because other people - dancers, managers - were closer to her, and with her day and night. Being a mother, you can't help but have regrets about what you did and didn't do for your kids, and I'm no different. I think I was an enabler to Britney. I would over-compensate and I tried to make things seem happier when my kids were growing up, because I was aware of the deficit. Maybe I didn't give her the skills to handle the hard times. Maybe I sheltered her too much from the realities, and sometimes that's not a good thing.

Listen, I think it's awesome she's admitting that she didn't do everything right along the way, but the way she started off the quote rubbed the wrong way. You can laugh about it now? Your daughter was a f**king trainwreck, and people actually picked her to die in Dead Pools. Glad you find that so funny now.

Britney's mom is a huge attention whore

In an attempt to keep living off of her daughters' fame (and screw ups), Lynne Spears is shopping around the idea of a movie based on her book Through the Storm. She's seriously thought about this for so long that she's even picked out Anna Faris to play Britney, and Julia Roberts to play her!

And this, ladies and gentlemen, makes the source of the Spears sisters' problems incredibly clear.

Lynne Spears wants Brit and K-Fed back together

Ya know, just when Britney Spears' life is back on track and she's got her shiznit together, her mother has to try and butt in. Lynne's been pretty outspoken in saying that Brit and Kevin Federline should work things out and stay together for the kids.

Maybe she forgets what happened to her the last time she was with K-Fed. Here's a reminder for Ms. Lynne:

Britney and her mom back to normal

Lynne Spears told People magazine during an interview that her and Britney's relationship "has undergone tremendous healing." She said they're back to four or five phone calls a day.

That's a huge change from a year ago, when Britney handed her mother a note saying she didn't want to see her ever again, and her two sons would grow up not knowing their grandmother.

Gotta say, good for them. Especially since Lynne totally outed her daughter in her book and talked about her drug use and premarital sex. Bet Jordin Sparks things Brit is a huge slut...

Lynne Spears....

The Enquirer is reporting that in 1975 Lynne Spears hit and killed a 12-year-old boy who was riding his bike in Kentwood. The article says Lynne was driving her brother to the hospital when the incident occurred.

A rep for Lynne told the tabloid "It bothers Lynne still to this day," adding, "She really doesn't like to talk about it. She just wanted to forget that it ever happened -- but she can't."

The young boy, Anthony Winters, lived along the route Lynne was taking.

Lynne's rep says, "Anthony Winters and his friend were in the road on a curve on a bicycle. As Lynne rounded the curve she could not avoid the boy in the street as there was oncoming traffic in the opposite lane."

Anthony later died at the hospital as a result of his injuries.

Her rep adds, “Lynne realized the boy was struck immediately and to this day is grieved by the Winters’ loss of their son.“
