In the same biopic that Johnny Depp may be playing the white version of Michael Jackon, Jamie Foxx is being talked about to play the King of Pop before his skin turned white. Again, the biopic is being drafted up by different Hollywood studios from different angles, but Jamie's name is being tossed around for the black Michael as much as Johnny's name is being thrown around for the white Michael.
We definitely got a good preview of what we'd see from Jamie during the BET Awards on Sunday night. I think Jamie would be a perfect fit, too.
[I'm] not necessarily a bachelor, but I look at marriage as not for me. Maybe that will change at some point, but right now, I see many of my married friends who are so miserable. And I'm looking at that thinking, 'Man, maybe I don't need that.
A.K.A. Jamie has a LOT more mommy spots that he wants to touch before he settles down. And hell, if I had a boatload of hot ass girls throwing themselves at me too, why not?
Jamie Foxx opened up a huge can of verbal whoop ass on Miley Cyrus yesterday on his satellite radio show The Foxxhole, really laying into her about being "the chick with all the gums," then went on to tell her to make a sex tape, and act like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. Check out the audio below, and fair warning, it gets pretty vulgar.
Jamie was on The Tonight Show last night and apologized to Miley for saying all of that stuff when Jay Leno brought it up to him.
I so apologize to [Miley], and this is sincere. I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don't mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far. I have a radio show. We're really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean it maliciously. You know I'm a comedian. You know my heart.
It'd be one thing if the girl was in her 20's, but she's 16. While he may have been hilarious, I think going after a 16-year-old to that extent was a little much. But hey, any press is good press!
In a REALLY weird pairing, Jamie Foxx and Joaquin Phoenix have been going out on the town and clubbing together lately. In a recent hang out session, Jamie apparently got on stage screaming out, "I'm the mother f*cking man!" while his buddy Casey Affleck recorded it on tape. Apparently it's for some sort of documentary.
Jamie Foxx is an elevator-hog. You can't ride with him. Hit the bricks.
He was at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA late last week for a stop on his publicity tour for "The Kingdom." When he needed to take the elevator, Foxx had his bodyguard ask the guests of the hotel to leave the elevator so Foxx could use it. Then on each floor the elevator stopped at, the bodyguard held his arm out and said "you can't enter."
What a great guy. Taking a firm stance on physical fitness. If you're not gonna help yourself, Jamie Foxx will help you help yourself by making you take the stairs. Feel the burn!!!
