Tons of season finales tonight!

No question Thursday night is the best night for TV. That being said, there's a TON of season finale's tonight at 9pm eastern, so set your DVR's! Hell's Kitchen will air Part 2 of it's finale tonight on FOX, with the winner being named. The Grey's Anatomy will air at the same time on ABC and we'll probably find out what happens with Izzy Stevens' cancer battle and the aftermath of her and Alex getting married last week. Then, also at the same time, you got the finale for CSI on CBS, followed up by the season finale of CSI:NY. And at the same time, ABC will air the season finale of Private Practice. And just a heads up, Survivor: Tocantins airs at 8pm on CBS tonight and will set up its finale that will air Sunday night.

GOOD TV going on tonight, so make sure you catch some of it and DVR the rest, and tell your friends to keep their mouths shut tomorrow morning at the water cooler or in class!!

Hot Celebrity crushes

Okay, I realize this isn't really celebrity news/gossip/dirt, but I seriously felt the need to post this. I was watching CSI last night, and the main focus was around the characters of David Hodges and Wendy Simms, who are both lab techs. Anyway, it dawned on me about halfway through the episode...Liz Vassey, who plays Wendy, is hot as hell!! I've always been into that kind of exotic look, and Liz has it. So, yes, I felt the need to post about my newly-realized raging crush on Liz Vassey.

Now carry on with your everyday lives, and like my boy Jerry Springer says on his trailer trash show, "Take care of yourself, and each other."

Laurence Fishburne almost passed on CSI

With as big of a hit as CSI is, you'd think people wouldn't think twice about accepting a role on the show. But Laurence Fishburne came close to saying "No thanks" to the role of Dr. Raymond Langston because he can't stand the sight of blood. He was flipping through a book with pictures of real life crime scenes, and had to close it because he was getting queasy.

Just goes to show -- even badass looking people can turn out to be wusses. No offense, Laurence.

Taylor Swift on CSI tonight

Taylor Swift's CSI episode airs TONIGHT on CBS, so make sure you check it out. I've seen the promos for it, and she dresses kinda punkish. And I gotta say, Taylor makes one sexy ass punk girl.

Billy Petersen says farewell to CSI

I really wish I was just exaggerating, but I'm not. I'm SUPER bummed that tonight is Billy Petersen's final night (at least full-time) as Gil Grissom on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The show has been on for about 10 years and he's been on from the start...he's been the leader. It's just going to be weird to not see him on all the time. I'd hate to say it, but it might be the beginning of the end for the show. With Jorga Fox (Sara Sidle) and Gary Dourdan (Warrick Brown) gone, I can't see it lasting too much longer. The good news out of all of this is that the show gets a kickass actor to fill Billy's shoes, with Laurence Fishburne joining the cast. But it may not be enough.

Billy will be making appearances on the show here and there from what I understand, but it still won't be the same. Thanks for 10 years of total awesomeness, Billy!!

Another big screen to small screen jump!

Laurence Fishburne makes the jump from the silver screen to the boob tube halfway through the season of CSI to take over for William Petersen (who leaves his role of Gil Grissom 10 episodes into the season). Billy P did say that he'd be making the occasional guest appearance here and there on the show, so you know they won't be killing off his character.

Laurence better kick ass as a CSI like he did as Morpheus, or I may have to look for a new favorite show.

Laurence Fishburne to play the new leader of CSI?

It saddens me to bring up again, but after being the star of CSI since the very first episode, William Petersen is leaving the show. With Gil Grissom gone (don't worry, he'll be making guest appearances), the production team has been searching for a new star.

Sounds like they may have found their new star. Laurence Fishburne is rumored to take over the star roll and play the newest CSI member, a character who is portrayed as "a doctor/scientist outsider to the CSI unit who has the same genetic profile as a serial killer but hasn't previously acted on any homicidal impulses."

There's also been talk about John Malkovich and Kurt Russell being the new star of the show. We'll throw it to my homeboy, Santino Marella, for his opinion.

CSI fans: Say goodbye to Gil Grissom

As much as it pains me to say it, there's really no way around it. CSI is screwed and will probably start sucking.

In last season's finale of CSI, Warrick Brown (played by Gary Dourdan) was shot and killed, obviously meaning he won't be on the show anymore. At the end of this season, prepare to say goodbye to Gil Grissom. William (Billy) Petersen, the actor who plays Grissom, said that next season will be his final full-time season, but he'll stay on as an executive producer for the show and make occasional appearances.

He didn't opt out of his contract or get busted for crack like Gary, but Billy P just decided it was time to leave and declined further comment. To set it all up, a bunch of characters will return, including his on-again/off-again girlfriend Sara Sidle (played by Jorja Fox), the Miniature Killer, and Lady Heather. A new male cast member is going to be brought on.

I don't know, kids. CSI is easily my favorite show (next to the Girls Gone Wild promos on Spike TV), but I think this is going to spell the end of the show. You're talking about losing half of the cast in a year's time. On the show, Sara moved away, Warrick's dead, and now Grissom is leaving? New cast member or not, me thinks it's the beginning of the end for CSI. I'm so pissed I might go all Amy Winehouse and headbutt some biznatches.

CELEBRITY SIGHTING: Paul Guilfoyle

CSI's Captain Jim Brass, played by Paul Guilfoyle, was hanging out on Cape Cod during the weekend and dropped by the WCOD Chowderfest at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis yesterday.

He's a super nice guy, and loves him some chowdah!!

Dourdan's done

It's a sad, sad day for CSI fans. Gary Dourdan, the fella who plays Warrick Brown, is done with the show when his contract is up at the end of the month. Apparently the producers already have his replacement picked out, and say that he is "handsome, smart, and athletic."

And since I know you're wondering...no, it's not me.
