Melissa Rycroft engaged

Just months after being dumped by that Bachelor dude named Jason, Melissa Rycroft is already engaged again. She's been with her boyfriend-turned-fiance Tye Strickland since literally JUST AFTER she was dumped by Jason on national TV.

I'd say congratulations, but this broad just seems totally needy now. You're telling me you're gonna be engaged and "in love" with this dude, get dumped on national TV, IMMEDIATELY start dating someone else and just a couple months later you're engaged again? Broad is scared of her biological clock.

Melissa Rycroft lands TV gig

It turns out getting dumped by that Bachelor dude was the best thing that ever happened to Melissa Rycroft. After she was picked as the girl the Bachelor wanted to marry then dumped a couple months later, she joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars and almost won the whole effing thing. Now a month or so after being on Dancing, she just signed on to work with Good Morning America, where she'll appear in 8-10 pieces during the summer.

Not a bad deal for someone that was broken up over some toolbag a few months ago.

Shawn Johnson wins Dancing with the Stars

Congratulations goes out to 17-year-old gymnast Shawn Johnson on winning the mirrorball trophy for Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars. The finale aired last night and started off being down to her, Gilles Marini, and Melissa Rycroft. Mid-way through the night, Melissa was sent home, and the finals came down to Shawn and Gilles, who performed one last dance each and both nailed a perfect scored of 30. Then host Tom Bergeron made the announcement, and said that with just 1% of the vote separating the two, Shawn was the DWTS winner.

Congrats again to Shawn and her dance partner Mark Ballas, who won for the second time in 3 seasons (he won Season 6 with Kristi Yamaguchi). Watch for Shawn, Gilles, and Melissa all on Good Morning America coming up shortly!!

Dancing with the Stars winner named tonight

It's down to the Triple Threat of Shawn Johnson, Gilles Marini, and Melissa Rycroft trying to Tango their way to top and win their season of Dancing with the Stars. The three finalists all performed two dances last night -- a paso doble and a freestyle dance, and it's a dead heat. Shawn landed a perfect 30 for her freestyle and a 28 for her paso doble, while Gilles went to the opposite end and landed a perfect 30 for his paso doble and a 28 for his freestyle. Melissa ended up scoring a 29 for her paso doble and a 27 for her freestyle, putting her 2 points behind Shawn and Gilles.

Who's going to win? Tune in tonight to find out!! (Or, of course, you can come back here tomorrow morning while you're checking out a fresh batch of dirt!)

DWTS injury bug bites Melissa Rycroft

Melissa Rycroft is without a doubt everyone's hopeful to win Dancing with the Stars this season, mainly just because how hard she got f*cked over by that Bachelor dude. She's been totally killing it on the dance floor too since her first week, but she hit a little pothole this week -- she has a hairline fracture in one of her ribs. Melissa and partner Tony Dovolani were judged on a rehearsal dance last night instead of a legit performance, and landed a 21 out of 30 for a score.

The vote-off show is tonight, so if Melissa ends up making it through the vote, she will still be able to compete on next week's show. Doctors already gave her clearance. And honestly, Dancing may not be my favorite show, but hook Melissa up and keep her on because I'm really pulling for this girl.

Official replacements on Dancing with the Stars named

The rumors about the replacements for the injured Jewel and Nancy O'Dell for this season's Dancing with the Stars competition were correct. Holly Madison replaced Jewel, who fractured her tibia in both of her legs, and the winner-turned-reject of The Bachelor, Melissa Rycroft, replaced Nancy O'Dell, who tore her miniscus.

In other news that made me ecstatically happy, Denise Richards totally sucked up the dance floor.
