Megan Fox Catwoman

It's looking like the next Batman flick is gonna get a little Fox-y (see the totally lame thing I did right there?), because we're getting word that Megan Fox has signed on to be the next starlet to play Catwoman. The new Batman installment is due out on 2011.

I'm just saying...Megan Fox + Leather = Heaven. 'Nuff said.

"The Dark Knight" still on top

For the third consecutive week, The Dark Knight has topped the box office, bringing in $26 mil this past weekend. So far the flick has grossed $441.5 mil and is closing in on the No. 2 spot all time, which is held by the original Star Wars movie with $460 mil.

And sadly, I still haven't seen this movie.

"The Dark Knight" gets some criticism

So after weeks of kicking ass in the box office and everyone drooling and peeing themselves over how awesome this movie is, The Dark Knight is finally starting to get some criticism. Apparently, Christian Bale's "Batman voice" sounds like a mix between Clint Eastwood and a grizzly bear.

If that's the only complaint your movie gets, then you've done a pretty awesome job. I mean, Santino Marella seemed to enjoy it. Right, Santino?

Batman Still on Top

Despite stiff competition from The Mummy 3, the new Batman movie has once again come in as the #1 movie in America.

The Dark Knight took in another $44.8M this weekend, putting its total at $395.88M domestic.

Insane, how much do you think it'll take in before it leaves theatres? Then nevermind adding in DVD sales!!

Christian Bale arrest update

Well, whatever Christian Bale pulled out of his Batman utility belt worked, because he's been released from jail after posting bail and hasn't been charged with anything yet.

His lawyer read a statement, saying that he went to a London Police Station on his own, gave his side of the story about what happened between him, his mother, and his sister, then left. He was arrested yesterday for assaulting them, but he's denied that it ever happened.

Hmm...wonder if it's a publicity stunt to get the attention off Heath Ledger and back onto Christian?

the Box Office... hahhh. Just yesterday, A MONDAY!!, it took in $24 million bucks!!! Can you imagine??? That's insane.. I wonder if the extra publicity coming from Bale's arrest helped at all.. haha

The film has already made $182.9 million in less than a week of release!!! And 64% of Dark Knight fans saying they plan to see it AGAIN, so the movie could take in upwards of $500 million in America.

Absolutely insane.. I need to go see this movie haha

Batman Attacks?

Nope, not a new Batman movie title....it's the latest rumor in Hollywood... supposedly, Christian Bale's mother and sister are saying the Batman stud attacked them after his movie premiere in London...

I don't believe it... I need to hear his side... I refuse to believe it haha not just because he's hot but because he always seems so laidback and family-like. It also doesn't make sense that he'd do something that stupid on his big night...

hence, I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS CHARGE UNTIL FURTHER NEWS DEVELOP....

OK UPDATE:

He supposedly lashed out on Sunday night at London's Dorchester Hotel.

His mother, Jenny, 61, and sister, Sharon, 40, went to a police station in Hampshire yesterday to place the charges. Detectives are expected to make attempts to question Bale today. A Met Police spokesman said: “We can confirm we have received allegation from another force in relation to an alleged incident in central London.”

Eh, I still don't believe it... or want to anyways :( haha

Why so serious? Because Batman sets records.

The Dark Knight opened this weekend and shattered a couple of box office records. It set a first-day earnings record of $66.4 million on Friday. The movie stayed hot throughout the weekend and set a new weekend earnings record of $155.34 million.

I haven't seen it yet...waiting for the hype to die down a bit. But I heard this movie is frickin SICK, and I heard it's even better in IMAX. And for the record, I WILL step on you if you get in my way for IMAX tickets.
