The hit USA show Monk, starring Tony Shalhoub, is officially ending after 8 successful seasons. Monk has always killed in the ratings, and Tony has been nominated for an Outstanding Actor award at the Emmys for the last 6 years, winning 3 times. Producers are ending the show's run for no other reason than allowing fans to see a show end while it's popular and not overdone.
Monk was definitely a popular show. I never watched it, but I had a few friends that were obsessed with it, so congrats on a great series!
