William Balfour, who is the main and only suspect in the murders of Jennifer Hudson's mother Darnell, her brother Jason, and her 7-year-old nephew Julian, apparently told his girlfriend that he's guilty and murdered the family. Pretty cut and try, right? Except for the fact that when his girlfriend was questioned, she covered up for William and said he had nothing to do with the murders. William did, however, tell police that he was at the Hudson home the morning of the murders.
This is just a mess, and it's a case of just having to find one piece of evidence that places him at the scene during the time of the murders for the ball to get rolling on him being officially charged with something. I'm sure when that day comes, Jennifer, her sister Julia, and the rest of their family will feel like some sort of justice has been served. At least I hope so, for their sake.
