Obama assassination attempt foiled

ATF authorities (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) have foiled plans for an assassination on Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama. Apparently, a group of skinheads were planning on shooting up an all-Black school and kill 102 people -- 88 by shooting and 14 by decapitation. The numbers 88 and 14 are significant to White Supremacists, which is the reasoning behind those numbers.

I've come to the conclusion that people are just royally f*cked in this world. You have a stepfather murder his wife, brother-in-law, and his stepson, and now you have people attempting to assassinate random people because of the color of their skin. Not to go all Martin Luther King Jr. on this, but...when you think about it, have we even really made any progress in the last couple hundred years, aside from the fact that slavery has been abolished?
