Katherine Heigl starring in Polygamy movie

First she became engaged to her patient on Grey's Anatomy and had a breakdown when he died. Then, she had one wild night of hot monkey lovin' with Seth Rogan and got Knocked Up. Now, Katherine Heigl is taking on a whole new role -- escaping from polygamy.

Heigl is slated to produce and star in Escape, a true-life story about a woman (Carolyn Jessop) who broke out of the Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints and got away from her husband who she was forced to marry when she was 18 and he was 50.

Forgive me for finding this storyline boring. I'm sure it was a tough ordeal to go through (she was forced to have sex and had eight kids and all that), but after seeing her do so well in Knocked Up and movies like it, I think the movie will tank. Good for her for trying to broaden her horizons though, and not be recognized for being some emo doctor or hot girl who got impregnated one drunken night.
