On the Season 2 premiere of Brooke Knows Best that aired on Sunday, the show got emotional and heavy, which it doesn't usually do. Brooke was visiting her father for the weekend and met his new girlfriend (who looks EXACTLY like his daughter) Jennifer. After an awkward dinner, Brooke and Jen clicked and then decided to go out for a ride on the Hulkster's boat the next day. They ended up riding by their old house, which made Brooke and Hulk both break down, especially after Hulk said that he "spent 30 years destroying my body to build that house, and now some kid that's 19 years old lives there." A lot of people are thinking that the tears were fake, which I really don't believe at all. They seemed pretty genuine. It was also revealed that Brooke hasn't really talked to her mother Linda in over 6 months, mainly because of her relationship with 19-year-old Charley. But Linda thinks it'll work out in the end.
I did not plan on this happening, my life has been totally turned upside down. He is 19, he will be 20. I had no idea how old he was, he was just a guy that I met on the beach that was cute. I thought he was 27 or 28 when I met him, I didn't know. We just had a lot in common and started talking. He really gave me hope. I hate to have this come between us, because I have been there for the kids and I have been there for Brooke. I just feel such a loss, but I know that I'm going to get it back.
How you can date someone that's the same age as your kid (Charley and Nick are the same age) boggles my f*cking mind, and I don't think I'd talk to a parent either if they were banging someone my age. Plus, it's not like Linda is actually attractive -- she cakes on more makeup than a clown.
