Kristy Lee Cook was dropped by her record label Arista Nashville for the second time. She first signed with the label in 1999, and re-signed after her stint on American Idol. She released an album in September called Why Wait, and the first single 15 Minutes of Shame reached the Top 30, but no other songs hit the radio airwaves.
