Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet help lone Titanic survivor

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, whose careers were made by starring in Titanic, are helping out the last survivor of the actual Titanic. Millvina Dean was only 2 months old when that big ass boat sank on April 14, 1912. Now at 97, Millvina has been living in a nursing home for the last few years after breaking her hip, but she's been struggling to make the payments, even selling Titanic mementos back in October to try and raise some cash. Enter Leo and Kate, who just put their support behind a fund to raise money for Millvina. The Millvina Fund kicked off yesterday in Belfast, Ireland, and has secured the survivor's future.

Awesome. Totally awesome that Leo and Kate more or less remembered where they came from (celebrity-wise, anyway) and are helping Millvina live the rest of her life in peace, like she should.
