Adam Lambert speaks on being a role model

Everyone in America is completely fascinated with Adam Lambert's sexuality to the opint where they're trying to pull him out of the closet instead of letting him confirm or deny whether he's gay or not. And the cool thing is that Adam is actually eating it up. During an interview with People magazine, he was straight up asked about his sexuality, and his answer was simple: "Calm down. Keep speculating." While he wouldn't answer sexuality questions, he did speak on being a role model to kids.

It's a really, really cool thing to be able to show people that you can be yourself, and you should be proud of yourself, and you should own who you are and what you're about, and never make apologies for it. It feels really amazing to be able to try and pass that on to kids and young adults who don't have a role model like that. It feels great because I never had a role model like that. Conforming is not cool. Embracing who you are and what makes you different is actually what's really cool ... The kids that are different and out there and expressive and are bold with those choices, those are the people that grow up to be people we all want to hang out with, that become celebrities or become really successful in what they do because they believe in who they are.

As far as his sexuality goes, whether or not he's right, Ryan Seacrest said he's going to speak about it soon. And he also said Adam is getting a huge kick out of all the speculation.
