Jon and Kate Gosselin blasted by family

It's one thing to be blasted by random people or the media, but when you get the verbal smack laid down on you by your family, you know you're floating in Sh*t's Creek. Kate's brother Kevin and his wife Jodi have talked down about Jon and Kate for the second time in two weeks. This time they were on the Early Show saying that the Gosselins should be ashamed that they're exploiting their children the way they are.

We thought it was very innocent at the time. It quickly turned into more and more demands from Jon and Kate from the network. It turned into 40 episodes in a six-month span. There were cameras in the children's bedroom at one point, and they were filming all year round. These were very huge concerns for us. [The kids are] being viewed as a commodity. They're being exploited, and it's time for America to see the situation for what it really is. This is not a healthy environment for kids to be raised in. We feel that they've chosen this path with disregard to their children's safety, security.

Two things: 1) TOTALLY agree that the kids are being exploited. Because when you sign onto Facebook and see your friends taking quizzes to see "What Jon and Kate Plus 8 kid are you?" -- you know something isn't right. 2) Why do they keep saying THEY'VE? At the end of last season, Jon was saying how he didn't want to do it anymore, and it was painfully obvious from the season 5 premiere on Monday that he doesn't even want to be there. Kate's the attention whore that wants to keep the show going, so blame her, not him.
