Leona Lewis is the Top Artist of 2008

A huge Dirty congratulations goes out to Leona Lewis, who on top of her 3 Grammy nominations last week, was named Billboard's Top Artist of 2008 yesterday for all of her success this year. And being the humble girl she is, she isn't gloating about it.

I'm just going day by day and just enjoying everything. I got a fantastic opportunity to come here and do this and so far it's been going really well.

Congrats again, Leona! Keep it up!

Grammy Nominations Are In..

Here are some highlights

Lil Wayne shockingly is leading all with nominations...he got 8, then Coldplay followed with 7 and Jay Z Ne Yo and Kanye each with 6.. I don't know if I agree with these but what do you guys think?

Here are some other nominees..

Adele scored four nominations They are Best New Artist, as well as Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Record of the Year and Song of the Year for Chasing Pavements.

Leona Lewis got three nominations (well deserved might I add)- Best Pop Vocal Album for her debut, Spirit and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year for Bleeding Love.

Rihanna also scored three nods - in the Best Dance Recording category for Disturbia, in the Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals category, If I Never See Your Face Again with Maroon 5, and in the Best Long Form Music Video category for Good Girl Gone Bad: Live

Madonna and Lady Gaga are both vying for Best Dance Recording, for Give It To Me and Just Dance, respectively. I think Lady G should win that one..

Madonna is also nominated in the Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals category for her duet with Justin Timberlake, 4 Minutes.

Robyn was nominated in the Best Electronic/Dance Album category for Robyn.

M.I.A. got a Record of the Year nod for her crossover hit Paper Planes.

Pink was nominated in the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance category for So What.

Jason Mraz earned a nom with I'm Yours for Song of the Year.

And, Kathy Griffin got a nod for for Best Comedy Album for For Your Consideration.

Leona Lewis hates being photographed in her bikini

Leona Lewis said she was horrified when she saw pictures of herself in a bikini making their way around the 'Net, and actually said her body was embarrassing.

Being pictured in my bikini was a nightmare, especially for somebody like me. I’m a normal-sized girl and it’s embarrassing. Nobody in their right mind wants to see rough-looking bikini shots of themselves from every dodgy angle. It was horrid.

I really don't think there's anything wrong with her. I'd pick a girl that looks like Leona over an 85-pound Nicole Richie any day of the week.

I thought this performance was so awesome between the singing and the dancing so I had to post.. how good is she LIVE?!?! She's always pitch-ure perfect ooooooooh that was corny.. anyways, she's also performing at the AMA's on Sunday night so if you're a fan, tune in!!

Life is good if you're Leona Lewis. She has a number one hit single in the US with "Bleeding Love," her album "Spirit" drops in stores today, and now she has a brand new mansion. And who made it all possible?

No, not Clive Davis, who she's pictured with above. He likes men. Why do you think he was so big on Clay Aiken (pun is sure as hell intended.)

No friends, the man is none other than American Idol and X Factor judge Simon Cowell. For those of you who don't know where Leona came from, she was the winner of the 2006 edition of X Factor. Simon has been so impressed with how hard she works and how much she's blown up that he dropped a sweet $2.5 mil on a mansion for her.

Pretty cool of Mr. Cowell if you ask me, although I think the money would've been better used to surgically remove Paula Abdul's mouth so no one ever has to hear her speak again.
