Tobey Maguire reality show

It's looking like Tobey Maguire may be entering the reality TV show world, but not with his own life. Tobey's mother Wendy is in talks to star in a reality show called Growing up Maguire, which will follow her and her other son, 15-year-old Weston, and show the challenges of protecting Tobey and his brother from the downside of Hollywood. No confirmation or premiere date has been released, but it's looking like this project will be a go.

One question -- who the f*ck is Tobey Maguire's mother anyway, and why the hell should I care about her? (Okay, so 2 questions...sue me.)

Kate Hudson turns 30 with friends

Kate Hudson held her 30th birthday bash over the weekend and a ton of her friends and well-known stars showed up. The list included: Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Justin Timberlake, Matthew McConaughey, Tobey Maguire, Jessica Alba, Cash Warren, Gwen Stefani, Eva Mendes, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin, Adam Sandler, Zach Braff and Cher. (Cher? WTF?)

The party was held at her madukes (Goldie Hawn) and Goldie's boytoy Kurt Russell's place. Mr. JT was said to be the life of the party, dancing around, throwing back Tequila shots, and even getting everyone to do the electric slide. Eva chilled mainly with Cash and Zach all night, and Adam popped by for a few, said "Happy Birthday," and left with a cupcake (the actual food, not a hussy.)

Sounds like a pretty fun night. Kate gave a heartfelt speech at the end of the night thanking everyone for coming, then continued partying until the cops showed up for noise complaints. No word on if Cher got naked or not, but I'm guessing she probably did.

Tobey Maguire to be a dad again

Congrats to Tobey Maguire and his wife Jennifer Meyer, who announced they were expecting their second child in the spring of 09!

For the record, I tried to get crafty and somehow work this announcement in as a Spiderman angle and include the term "shot his web," but I couldn't work it in (Pun intended, because I'm clever.)

Stars turn out for Borat's baby's birthday

A crapload of A-listers showed up for Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher's daughter Olive's first birthday party. The guest list included Ben Stiller, Ellen DeGeneres, Tobey Maguire, Courteney Cox-Arquette and Jennifer Aniston. (John Mayer was nowhere in sight.)

I'm insanely jealous of Sacha. Not only does he get paid to have multiple personalities, but he gets to have sexy time with easily the sexiest redhead in Hollywood.

Tobey Maguire's friends beat up paparazzi

Over the weekend, Tobey Maguire and his friends took his daughter to a pumpkin patch to do some pumpkin picking. Paparazzi were obviously there snapping pics of he and his daughter. Eventually, Tobey's friends got in a shouting match with the paps, and it ended up turning physical, leaving one photog bleeding from the head. Tobey was nowhere to be seen and wasn't involved, though. Check out the video below for the lead-up and aftermath of what went down!
