Biggest Loser drug scandal!

This past season of The Biggest Loser had some of the biggest people ever on the show, but it also had the biggest drama queens on the show. Around the time when some of the contestants had to switch trainers, a few contestants cried, then there was a huge blowout between Filipe Fa and trainer Jillian Michaels. Everyone assumed the fight was over Filipe not wanting to switch from Bob Harper to Jillian, but Jill gave TV Guide the deets on what really went on.

Filipe said, 'I think Jillian is giving people drugs.' We had an entire 'Kenneth Starr' investigation. Because the minute someone makes that claim, you have to. They didn't shut down production, but it took a week. I was so furious, so disgusted. I felt so betrayed. Filipe didn't want to train with me. When he said, 'You didn't train me,' I said, 'You're damn right I didn't train you!' I literally couldn't speak to him.

When Filipe was called out on it, he denied it, saying that he and Jill "had some issues, obviously, with us switching teams, but there was no accusation of her giving drugs." But executive producer Mark Koops actually backed up Jill's story and said that Filipe did accuse her of drugging her team. Which honestly is just f*cking ridiculous. Her and Bob get paid to help people lose a ton of weight and change their lives the right way -- why would she sit there and drug her team up? Little bitch. (Then again, I could be bias since I think Jillian's hot.)

Helen Phillips is The Biggest Loser!!

CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Helen Phillips, who was named The Biggest Loser during last night's 3-hour live Finale!! The Finale kicked off with the naming of the 3rd Finalist, which was a vote-off by America between the father and son team of Mike and Ron Morelli. As expected, Mike was named the last finalist and was set to go up against Helen and Tara later on in the night.

Jerry Hayes walked away with the $100,000 at-home prize, losing 177 pounds!! The most amazing parts of this were the fact that Jerry passed out within the first hour of working out in the gym on the Biggest Loser ranch on the very first day, and the fact that he was only there for 2 weeks!! Not to mention he's 64-years-old, which just goes to show that if he can do it, anyone can! Check out his before and after pictures below.

For the finalists, Helen was the first to weigh in, dropping 140 of her original 257 pounds. Mike was up next and although he dropped 207 of his starting 388 pounds, he didn't lose enough of a percentage to take the lead, so Helen remained on top. It was down to her and Tara, who needed to lose 161 pounds to beat Helen. Tara was 6 pounds off, losing 155 pounds and giving Helen the $250,000 grand prize.

Here's where I get pissed. There's a ton of people who are saying that Helen doesn't deserve it for multiple reasons, but the two that surface most is that Tara worked her ass off and she should've won it, and Helen should've kept her daughter on the ranch instead of sending her home (9 contestants were sent home with the chance of being brought back at the beginning of the show). Helen busted HER ass off, too, and at 48-years-old, beat out a 23-year-old fair and square. I can't believe people have the f*cking audacity to try and take this win away from Helen. The fact is, she beat 2 people more than half her age to win The Biggest Loser -- I'd say that's f*cking earning it.

And another thing to your Helen haters. Did you see how your precious Tara reacted at the end of the weigh-in? While every other contestant still (except Dave, who seemed really disappointment with himself for not doing well) celebrated the fact that they lost a sh*t ton of weight and changed their lives whether they were bringing home money or not, Tara looked up and rolled her eyes with disappointment. While everyone else seemed to bust their ass to change their lives, that reaction right there proved that she was just in it for the money. Not to mention she didn't walk off the scale and congratulate Tara right after, either. Quite simply, Tara may be a sore loser, but she's not The Biggest Loser.

Congrats to all the contestants on changing their lives. Onward and upward from here, including the wait for Season 8! Check out Helen winning below!!

The Biggest Loser recap -- 5/5/09 episode

With just one show left before next week's 3-hour season finale, last night's episode of The Biggest Loser was huge, because it'd set up the finals for next week. Not only that, but it gave the contestants a little taste of what life after Loser will be like. They were sent home to be on their own for 30 days before coming back to the Ranch for the final weigh-in before the finals. The contestants were also thrown a curveball after a few days of being home when they learned that they'd be taking part in a 26.2 mile marathon when they returned to the Ranch.

The focus started off with Mike, who was pretty nervous about returning to the place where he first got as big as he did. He was worried that he would fall back into the same habits, especially when he pointed out that the gym (where he would be spending most of his time) was right across the street from the fast food joint where he used to spend all of his time. Worrying about his brother Max was also a huge issue for him, and the reasoning became clear to him when Jillian made a surprise visit. She pointed out that he looks at Max and sees what he used to be and what he's scared of going back to, which is part of the reason why he's so focused on trying to help train Max. Jill said she'd help Max out if he was ready for it, but that Mike should focus on himself first.

The attention shifted to Tara, who gave her usual "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M IN THE FINAL FOUR" crap before saying that she was starting to struggle with being home. Like Mike, she didn't want to fall back into her old habits, and she was also helped out big time by Jillian's visit. Tara's room was a frickin pig sty, and Jill was SHOCKED when she saw how messy it was. She made a good point, saying that Tara had replaced her obsession of eating with an obsession for working out, and that she needed to find a balance to be fully successful. Tara told Jill how she was at the grocery store after working out once and starting eating a bag of pita chips in the store and how much she got pissed at her, and Jill pretty much told her she was nuts, then told her that they were going to work out and have a drink after. After realizing you can workout and be healthy but still enjoy life (like a glass of wine or a piece of cake every now and then), Tara was feeling good.

Next up was Helen, who went through her closet and was surprised at how big her clothes used to be and felt ashamed that she used to think that how she used to be was okay and healthy. After being surprised at a diner by Jillian, Helen finally broke down and told Jill how tired she was. Jill told her that she was putting too much stress on herself and that she should be happy and not so stressed or exhausted. Jill convinced her to settle down and have a glass of wine with her while they were eating some fruit. (Line of the night goes to my Mom, who busted out with, "Wow. I think Jillian just wants an excuse to booze up.")

Ron was featured last and was surprised to have Bob show up at his door. Like Jillian wanted to help Max out while helping Mike, Bob also wanted to pass along the fitness bug to him, too. He had Max and Ron bring him out to what a typical lunch for them used to be, and after coming back home with a sh*t ton of fast food, Bob took them out to Subway and helped show Max how much he could eat there that would equal the calorie count of a fast food lunch.

The marathon was up next, and I gotta say, as long as boring as I thought the coverage was going to be (and was, in some points), I thought it was pretty cool when they brought back old contestants and family members to cheer the contestants on. Tara and Helen started off running together while Mike and Ron walked together (Mike couldn't run because of a hip injury a few days before he returned to the Ranch). Tara and Helen met up with their brother and husband, then finally split up. Tara's brother stayed with her most of the way, until the final mile, when Jillian was there waiting for her. They crossed the finish line together first. Helen's husband had to drop out, and just as she was starting to second-guess whether she could finish alone or not, she ran into last season's winner Michelle, who ran with her for a bit too. Mike met up with Max, who walked a good distance with Mike before he had to drop out. A little while later, Mike met up with Bernie from 2 seasons ago, who helped encourage him and point out that he's come a long way. Ron was doing pretty well until about Mile 16, when he started feeling shaky and took a seat. His blood pressure was through the roof and it looked like he wouldn't finish, but once his BP returned to normal, he got back up and kept on walking. He was met by Bob at first, then Mike and Max, then as night time came, Ron was walking with Bob, Jill, Tara, Helen, Max, Bernie, Ali (the winner from 2 seasons ago), and Heba from last season. Somehow, Mike ended up at the finish line before everyone else, and teared up when he saw his father approaching the finish line. After Ron crossed it, Mike gave him a huge hug, which Max joined in on once he walked up to them. I gotta say, I even got the lump-in-the-throat feeling.

Finally came in the weigh-in. Tara dropped 10 lbs over 30 days and finished with the most percentage of fat lost, guaranteeing her a spot in the Final 3. Helen finished under Tara, putting her in the finals with Tara and also putting both Mike and Ron below the yellow line. So now, the vote for the 3rd Finalist is up to us, America. If you hit go here, you'll find the image above where you can vote for either Mike or Ron. You can also watch their video pleas, which basically has Mike asking to be brought to the finals and Ron asking everyone to vote for his son. Go vote!! We find out who the third finalist is during next week's 3-hour finale. Let it be known -- I'm on Team Mike!!

The Biggest Loser recap -- 4/28/09 episode

Big night last night on The Biggest Loser, as the Fab 5 was set to be narrowed down to the Final 4. The contestants were brought into the gym to watch videos of themselves from their very first workout to show how far they've come, then they did workouts that mimicked those first workouts. Then, they took part in a reward challenge that was pretty much a flashback to their very first challenge, which was climbing back and forth over a huge pile of dirt. This time around, though, there were 16 piles they had to climb, each hill representing a week that the contestants were on The Biggest Loser campus. On top of that, they'd have to carry with them all the weight they had lost, then they'd drop weight on each hill that coincided with the weight they dropped for that week until they were left with nothing but a bag to throw off a cliff. Up for grabs was a choice between a one-pound advantage and $10,000 for the first person to finish, with the second place person getting the leftovers.

Tara ended up winning the competition for like the 489th time (she annoys the crap outta me for some reason, and I really have a feeling that she's gonna be one of those snobby bitches when she's fully skinny again), and chose the one-pound advantage at the weigh-in. Mike was given the $10K for finishing in second place. At the weigh-in, Filipe and Ron both fell below the yellow line, which pretty much left the choice of who was going to the Final Four up to Helen and Tara, since Mike wasn't going to vote for his own father. Helen and Tara went with strategy and voted Filipe off since he was the bigger threat. So the Final Four are set as Mike, his father Ron, Helen, and Tara. Next week they trim it down to 3, then the Finale is the following week.

I'm really rooting for Mike, because he seems like a stand-up kid and a good guy, plus he's a young kid with his life ahead of him and the money would totally help out with college. Actually, I really just want anyone but Tara to win.

Biggest Loser alum having a baby!

A huge (no pun intended) congratulations goes out to Biggest Loser alums Marty and Amy Wolff, who are pregnant with their first child! The two weight-loss-wonders competed together on Season 3 of Loser, and ended up falling in love after the finale. During an update show, Marty proposed to Amy (while she was weighing in, no less), and were married shortly after. Amy said this time around, she's happy about the weight she's gaining and she's actually not even keeping track of the pounds, she's just eating healthy and basing everything on how her body feels, not the number on a scale.

Congrats again!!

Biggest Loser contestant arrested

Shanon Thomas, a contestant from the current season of the Biggest Loser was arrested last week for assault. Apparently, throwing flour in your tenant's face isn't really a good idea. Shanon is on the pink team and was one of 9 contestants sent home with the promise that if their teammate is still at the Biggest Loser Ranch after 30 days, they could return.

Could that be a spoiler that Shanon won't make the finals? Pretty tough to win a weigh-in when you're having some cuddle time with Big Bertha behind bars.

Michelle named the new Biggest Loser!

Biggest Loser contestant Michelle was named The Biggest Loser last night during a live finale. She lost the most weight of the final 3 contestants on The Biggest Loser Ranch with an 80-pound weight loss and lost 110 pounds overall. Congrats!! Check out her before and after pictures below, and I'm also throwing up the before and after pictures of Heba, who won the $100,000 second prize for being the contestant who lost the most weight out of the voted-off contestants, but I have nothing good to say because she was a bitch during the show.

"Biggest Loser" trainer arrested

Looks like we found out who the Biggest Loser actually is -- one of the trainers. Anthony Badalamenti was arrested Monday night for beating his girlfriend's 6-year-old son with weightlifting belts. Because that's classy and stuff. I'm not exactly sure who this tool is because I've never seen him on the show, but I'm assuming maybe he's one of the off-camera staff.

I'm not gonna lie, when I first saw the teaser for this story about a Biggest Loser trainer being arrested for beating, I actually thought it was Jillian Michaels. Because let's be real, Bob Harper wouldn't do it, and Jillian's a total badass. And hot. And I dig it.

Biggest Loser alumni -- Where are they now?

Biggest Loser 5 alum Dan Evans is actually pursuing his dream of singing and performing, and is releasing a country album that comes out tomorrow. He's also actually going on tour, which boggles my mind because I didn't realize his album was being made such a huge deal. Pretty sweet...you can check out his Myspace page for more info!

Biggest Loser alumni -- Where are they now?

With Season 6 of The Biggest Loser underway, people.com, had a "Where are they now?" feature on past contestants. One of the most popular girls from last season, Maggie King, is featured in the article. She's now down 70 pounds and is studying to be a personal trainer and nutritionist!

I hung out with her a lot during my first 2 years in school. If she's going to be a trainer, I say she's the next Jillian. Maybe even tougher.

Biggest Loser host is getting bigger!

The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney has reportedly been getting bigger, but for a good reason. During last night's taping of the show, Alison, who also stars on Days of Our Lives, told the cast that she's expecting her second baby from husband Dave Sanov.

I actually found out about this yesterday on Myspace. I'm friends with The Biggest Loser contestant Hollie from Season 4, and she posted a bulletin about it. And yes, I realize I basically just admitted I'm a total loser.

First female Biggest Loser!!

Clearly it's a slow day in celebrity news. There's only so many pictures of Kim Kardashian's huge ass I can post before I get annoyed. The 5th season of The Biggest Loser wrapped up last night with the first female Biggest Loser being crowned. Congratulations to Ali Vincent, who won the competition after losing 112 pounds (47.86% of her body weight..she originally weighed 234 lbs!!) Here are Ali's before and after pictures! (She's on the left in the before pics)

And on a personal note, congrats to Maggie King for losing 70+ lbs this season! I went to school with Maggie and it was great to see her do so well on the show. Here are her before and after pics! (She's on the right in the before pics)
