First Look: Britney Spears second appearance on How I Met Your Mother

She's coming back! Britney will be back on "How I Met Your Mother" May 12th!

I had such a great experience the last time I was on the show that I couldn't wait to come back!

In this episode, Britney's character Abby falls for Barney - played by Neil Patrick Harris. Whoever thought a homosexual computer nerd would find love with one of the biggest pop icons of our time??? Go Doogs!!!

Brit might be looking better, but she's still high-maintenance

So it's pretty much clock-work that Britney is making another cameo for the show How I Met Your Mother (whether Doogie Howser likes it or not!) -- but it's not a 100% done deal yet. Britney wants script approval.

Are you serious? Less than a year ago she was flashing her "mommy spot" for the world to see, and now she wants script approval? I actually dig it. Maybe it's the return of the classy Britney?

No script has been written and until that is done, Britney will not be making a commitment. The offer is there but no decisions have been made at the moment.

Here's a must-have in your script, Brit. Punch Doogie in the testicles!!

Doogie admits he's a dumbass!!

Last week, I reported that Neil Patrick Harris didn't want Britney Spears back for another episode of How I Met Your Mother. A week later, the Doog realized that he shot himself in the foot, and forgot how to operate on it!

I am just very protective of our show, and its content. I have a high standard of quality, and hope to maintain it on every level. Television is big business, I understand that. I have great faith in our casting department, as well as (Twentieth Century Fox Television) and CBS, to find the appropriate person for every role on our show. I was remiss in speculating otherwise. My job description is to act and I should really do just that.

Ratings = Job, you nimrod.

Britney appeared on "How I Met Your Mother" last night.
And (gasp) the critics liked her. They really liked her.

And so did the producers of the show... since the numbers are in and Britney's episode was the highest rated episode of the show ever!

Producers are already working on having her back.
