Akon is a liar!!

So remember that little album called Konvicted Akon put out at the end of 2006 that went multi-platinum? You know the one I'm talking about -- the album where he talked about being locked up, being a bad boy, yadda yadda yadda. Yeah, he made it all up or REALLY stretched the truth.

Police, court, and corrections records say that Akon:

created a fictionalized backstory that serves as the narrative anchor for his recorded tales of isolation, violence, woe, and regret. Akon has overdubbed his biography with the kind of grit and menace that he apparently believes music consumers desire from their hip-hop stars.

Akon punk'd us, friends. And it worked!

Gavin Degraw -- Pop Culture Quiz

So Gavin DeGraw came into the studio today.
I decided to prepare a little "pop culture quiz" for him to take then we'd discuss it on the air.
I did it because I don't imagine most of these things even existing in Gavin's world.

As you can see by the test results, which I scanned into my computer for your viewing pleasure, I was right.
