I reported a few weeks ago that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick were going to have twins through a surrogate. Seemed like a good plan and everything seemed to be going well, until people started marking their surrogate as a target. Since the announcement, Sarah and Matt's surrogate has had her phone and computer hacked into, and threats have been made to her. On top of that, threats have been made to her friends, and her friends' families. And Sarah is ripsh*t about it.
She's had friends threatened and family threatened and she's had family of friends threatened. I care deeply about her and I am incredibly outraged by the sort of extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy. I think even given the unfortunate way we live now in this unending appetite for the more salacious information, it has still shocked me, and it has still really disappointed me. She's had a friend who was thought to be her chased down a highway ... This friend is nine months pregnant — chased down a highway by photographers and dare I call them 'reporters.' I guess that's how they identify themselves. It's crossed lines — Pretty much all the lines have been crossed.
Sarah may look like a horse, but she's as smart as Mr. Ed. Seriously, the fact that a surrogate mother is being hounded by the paparazzi and anyone else is ridiculous. The lady is just trying to live a normal life and give birth to the babies for Sarah and Matt, but she has a bunch of douchebags surrounding her and risking her and her friendsl and friends' families' lives.
