Brooks and Dunn have been one of the most popular country groups for the last couple decades. They've constantly ripped up the charts with a ton of hits, and won a couple Grammys along the way. But after 20 years, Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn are calling it quits. They made an official announcement on their website.
After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have agreed as a duo that it's time call it a day. This ride has been everything and more than we could ever have dreamed... We owe it all to you, the fans. If you hear rumors, don't believe them. It's just time.
They plan on releasing a greatest hits album on September 8 and will hit the road in 2010 one last time for The Last Rodeo Tour.
