Jay Leno show plans

Jay Leno is giving a heads up of what he wants his show to be like when he kicks off with his prime time gig on Sept 14 -- he pretty much wants to make unknown comedians get jobs.

I hope people become famous and get offered shows. If someday I hear, 'Jay, we're replacing you with the guy you discovered,' that would be great.

He's still planning on kicking off his show with a monologue, but he wants to mix it up a bit and have other comedians to some stand-up and appear in different segments. He said it seems like within the last decade or so, standup has lost its "snap" on talk shows.

I'm a HUGE Leno fan, so I'm real excited to see what he has up his sleeve and how his first show will come off. By the way, slated for his first episode of The Jay Leno Show is Jerry Seinfeld, with a performance by Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Kanye. STELLAROCITY.
