Karina Smirnoff may be in love with fellow Dancing with the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, but she thinks he's laying it on a little heavy by pressuring her to have kids now, even though they're not getting married for another 13 months.
Maksim is asking for a baby, but I said, 'Why don't we start with a dog first and see how that goes.' He wastes no time. He wants babies right away. I love the idea, but I am not ready yet. I am still trying to convince Maksim to get a dog, but we'd never be home to take care of it. So we need to get a dog before a baby.
Maksim kinda sounds demanding and overbearing. They start dating in October, then 2 months later he proposes to her? Granted, she accepted, but still -- what's the rush? Now he wants a kid now before they're even married? Karina even said that he's pretty much planning out the wedding because she never stopped to think about what her dream wedding day would be, but Maksim has. He actually sounds kinda creepy.
