Legendary actor Dom DeLuise dies

I realize news broke of this yesterday morning, but hey, I don't get paid enough to be blogging 24-7 :) In all seriousness though, legendary actor Dom DeLuise died on Monday at the age of 75 in an L.A. hospital. He went peacefully in his sleep. Dom was always known has a portly funny man who loved to cook and eat about as much as he loved acting. He had a few memorable roles, one of my personal favorites was in Blazing Saddles, but he also published 2 cookbooks of gourmet cuisine! The fella was talented!! And he was loved by all, too. Burt Reynolds released this statement:

I was thinking the other day about this. As you get older you think about this more and more, I was dreading this moment. Dom always made everyone feel better when he was around. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. I will miss him very much.

R.I.P. Dom -- thanks for the years of laughs and good eats!
