Jamie Oliver and Ryan Seacrest making a reality show

Ryan Seacrest and British chef Jamie Oliver are teaming up to change the eating habits of the fattest cities in America. 6 episodes of the show have already been ordered by ABC. The whole premise is that Jamie will travel to America's unhealthiest cities to give their diet a makeover with items and foods that are at their disposal. The whole idea for the show came from a segment during On Air with Ryan Seacrest one morning while Ryan was talking about how he was chubby as a child. So many people called in during the segment with concerns and their own stories that an idea for a show just popped into his head.

I really think shows like this are the way to go for success. Look at the huge following The Biggest Loser has -- we're the fattest country in the world. Airing shows that will help people get skinny will TOTALLY get ratings. Smart move by Ryan and Jamie, but another failed opportunity for us on the poverty line.
