Billy Ray Cyrus sat down for an interview with our friends at PopEater.com and touched on a wide range of topics. A couple of those topics included what father-daughter Hollywood duo from the past that he compares he and Miley to, and also how she feels about her dating Justin Gaston.
For me, I look back, there's only two relationships that I know that maybe we're similar to mine and Miley's as a father and daughter. One would be Johnny Cash and Rosanne Cash. They had something similar to what we're going through, and I'd have to say that Frank and Nancy Sinatra maybe? I know that they probably ran some parallels, you know, a couple junctures in their life. Maybe Pam Tillis and her dad, Mel Tillis, you know I look back at that and yeah may be the only three that I can relate with right now.
And as far as how he feels about his 16-year-old daughter's relationship with a 20-year-old underwear model?
You know, I think Miley, she makes good choices. She's got a great heart, a great head on her shoulders. I think what's important with Miley is how she feels, and that seems to be something that only she knows that answer to that question.
That's totally the fatherly way of telling the media that he's pissed and hates the fact that Miley is dating Justin.
