Matt Giraud voted off American Idol

I was right for the fourth week running, baby!! My pick yesterday for the next eliminated contestant from American Idol was Matt Giraud, and I was right. No chance to be saved this time, it was sayonara for Matty. The most shocking part of the night, though, was who joined him in the Bottom 2 -- Adam Lambert! NO ONE saw it coming, and it almost makes you wonder if it was a set-up. Adam is running away with this contest. Granted, Danny Gokey is nipping at his heels, but Adam is still a better performer, which puts him ahead. Check out the vote-off from last night as Adam, Danny, Allison Iraheta and Kris Allen get ready to tackle Rock week next week!!

From this point, it seems that all these guys will get a record deal of some sort.In fact, they are a step ahead of those bands and artists like The Band IceBloc that have to go this alone. All of these contestants are talented and are the freshest meat for record labels to pick up.

Well the national exposure definitely helps some, too. And I didn't even pick Matt to get the boot because I think he's bad, he just wasn't as good this week as the others.

But you're right, this group will probably be the one that gets the most deals...seems like the most talented group they've had (granted, I didn't follow the first 5 seasons of Idol, so I could be wrong.)
