Philip Markoff is the Craigslist killer. For those of you unfamiliar with the story, a woman was killed in a Boston hotel a couple of weeks ago after posting an ad for erotic massages. Philip, at the time, had been using Craigslist to meet up with women in hotels to rob them, since he had a huge gambling debt. Well, Philip didn't count on Julissa Brisman fighting back in that Boston hotel, which she did, so long story short, he killed her. Meanwhile, his fiancee (at the time) Megan McAllister kept voicing her opinion that he'd never do something like that and that they were going to get married after they realized it wasn't Philip.
Well, it turns out that all you need to do is find duct tape and a gun in your fiance's apartment, and have e-mails to a murder victim traced back to your fiance before you start to believe that he actually committed the murder. Megan FINALLY came to her senses and went to visit Philip in jail to call off the wedding. And all I'm gonna say, is yay for Megan for finally realizing marrying a guy who's charged in a brutal murder is probably NOT a good idea.
