Twitter has seriously become a lifeline, it's insane. SO many people were following Ashton Kutcher last night on UStream.tv while he broadcasted live with his countdown to 1,000,000 followers. This has been blown up huge over the last week between Ashton and CNN. Even Larry King was talking smack to Ashton, saying that he couldn't take down a network. And all of Perez Hilton's pushing for CNN didn't work either, because Ashton was the first to hit a million last night! He threw a little get together with his friends and Diddy even called up during the final push!
Ashton was AWESOME about this whole thing, too. He was talking about how one person's voice matters and how it wasn't about him, but it was about all of us. Since he won the race, he's sending a $100,000 check to the Malaria No More Fund, and even showed the check on camera. If you missed the live broadcast from last night, fear not!
