Let's call a spade a spade -- if Adam Lambert doesn't win this season of American Idol, then a crapload of people are enjoying the nose candy way too much. Adam is hands down the best singer of all the contestants right now, but everyone is making a big deal about his sexuality. With the way he dresses and all the make-up he wears, on top of the pics of what looks like him making out with other guys, is he gay, and will that hurt him during the contest?
My opinion -- I don't know or care if he's gay, and I totally don't think it'll hurt him either way. Look at Daughtry -- he wore and still does wear eyeliner while he performs. But you're telling me he's definitely not gay because he shaves his head and looks badass? How about Bret Michaels? He cakes on the eyeliner too, looks like he's had some lip work done at times, and wears f*cking hair extensions -- does that make him gay? Well, I'd hope since he just finished his third season of banging a group of reality whores to try and find his next flavor of the month, the answer is no.
My point is, just because Adam wears eyeliner doesn't mean he's gay. And even if he is, so what? It's not gonna hurt him. Season 2 of Idol, America voted Clay Aiken all the way to the Final Two, and let's be real -- everyone except him knew that he was into the fellas. Mark my words, and I'd put money on it, Adam will win Idol whether he's gay or not.
