There's been rumors that Jessica Simpson is in talks with American Idol to become the replacement 4th judge for the upcoming season, but don't hold your breath on that happening. Jess' rep released a statement yesterday saying that there's "absolutely no truth" to the report, and that she's actually in the process now of filming a new beauty-focused reality show.
I actually didn't think this until just now, but Jess would be the PERFECT replacement for Paula. You'd still get the sweet judge who gives compliments and not criticisms, and at the same time end up hearing some of the dumbest comments coming out of someone's mouth ever. Plus, Jess is a knockout -- who wouldn't wanna stare at her for a few hours a week? Papa Joe needs to get on that!
