Michael Jackson secret

Since he died a couple of Thursdays ago, Michael Jackson has been legit picked apart by the media for everything he said, wore, wrote, sang, and everything in between. So it's no surprise to be finding out that the legendary sequined glove that Michael rocked throughout his career wasn't a fashion statement or a trademark, but actually was covering the beginning of his skin disease. Actress Cicely Tyson, who was friends with MJ for a long time and shared a fashion designer with him, spilled the beans to Larry King.

All of a sudden, he (the designer) said, 'I'm doing this glove for Michael.' Michael was beginning to develop the vitiligo and it started on his hand. The glove was to cover the vitiligo; that's how that glove came into being.

If you didn't know, vitiligo is a condition where your skin lightens in blotches. That's the reason MJ went from black to white (well, I'm sure the skin bleaching helped a little bit, too.)
