yeah my school is pretty good about getting off for holidays... we get a bunch of jewish holidays off which sucks for me because i have to go to temple but is really great if your not jewish. and we get good friday off... its wierd that you dont

thats the point... theyre not allowed to practice religion in school so they give us the day off. most of the people where i live are jewish tho so we get a bunch of the holidays off.

no, we don't get hannuka off, because you only practice it in the evening. besides, its sometimes over christmas break. but we get off yom kippur and rosh hashana and stuff.
