Jerry Seinfeld has (thankfully) realized that 1990 was a long time ago and that his stand-up routine is a bit dated. So he's coming back to NBC!
Seinfeld is in talks with the network for a new show described as "Curb Your Enthusiasm" with Jerry instead of Larry David, who of course created "Seinfeld."
It all sounds confusing - and a bit stupid - but "Seinfeld" episodes still hold up today... and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen, so I'll bite. I hope this show makes it to the regular schedule. At least it'll keep Jerry off the stand-up circuit. I saw him do some stand-up on Conan O'Brien a few months ago... OUCH!
And if Jerry makes it again on NBC after 15 years away, maybe it'll give Chumbawumba some hope to finally have a follow-up hit to "Tubthumping."
