Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz have been "going steady" since early last year. And besides a couple stupid tiff rumors, they've been pretty solid. Here they are making out on New Years Eve at Shore Club in Miami:
The very next day they were spotted wandering around like Amy Winehouse at 7am, with Ashlee showing off a lil' something on her left ring finger. Either A) Ashlee and Pete were messing with paparazzi (she's obviously flashing it) or B) Pete Wentz bought her the weakest engagement ring ever and they're getting married.

UPDATE: Reps for both Pete and Ashlee say the couple is not engaged. Thank God! That ring looks like it was bought in a gumball machine!
