Michael Jackson's Memorial Service is just getting underway at the Staples Center in Los Angeles right now. A ton of celebrities are on tap to perform, including some of Michael's brothers and Mariah Carey, and Kobe Bryant and other celebs will also be making appearances. Tons of lucky fans are in attendance after winning a Lottery for tickets (that only cost $25...which people have been putting on eBay and selling for $15,000), plus millions are showing up outside the Staples Center and have been for the last few hours. Just before this service, Michael's family gathered at the cemetery for a private memorial service.
I don't have access to a TV right now but I've heard that some stations are having live coverage of the memorial service, plus there's going to be special features later on tonight of the behind the scenes from the service -- so either way, you'll hear about it. Then hopefully, Michael will FINALLY be able to rest in peace.
UPDATE: Michael's body (in a casket, obviously) was brought on stage to kick off the service and everyone paid tribute to the King of Pop. Performances and stuff to come.
