It was FINALLY Finale time last night, and we kicked off the show by seeing highlights of all of the celebs landing in Costa Rica and making their way to their new jungle home. A quick recap of past competitions, eliminations, and "Spence-outs" followed, then we got a live shot of Damien and Myleene talking about it being the Finale -- ya know, the usual Finale hype. From there, we're shown the final challenge for the 3 finalists, which was called the Bush Spa. Torrie, Lou, and John all had the chance to win this food trial, which was filled with challenges like sitting in a box full of snakes and moving 2 stars from one end of a rod to another, and digging into gross stuff like vomit fruit head-first to dig out a cut out star. All 3 celebs passed, which meant all 3 of them got to eat some good food -- which happened to be all the foods they were craving (tofu burger for John, veggie pizza for Torrie, and fried chicken/mashed potatoes for Lou.)
Then it was time to meet with the eliminated celebs -- nothing really big to talk about here, it was just a quick little reunion of sorts, and they weighed-in on who they thought would win. Then they were brought back into the jungle to reunite with John, Torrie, and Lou. This was just a lot of fluff where they reminisced about times in the jungle and showed video packages saying nice things about each other. Then it was time to find out who the winner was -- John was eliminated first, bringing it down to Lou vs Torrie. And finally, after about dragging sh*t out for a good 8 minutes, Lou was named the King of the Jungle. Congrats Lou.
In a random side note, I also had a dream last night that Torrie had a crush on me. I was pissed when my alarm clock went off and woke me up from it. Stupid work.
